We don’t disagree that there is a market for a cross-platform handwritten note taking app! We would love for Squid to be available on all platforms. We’re a small team and we don’t currently have the resources to expand to Windows (or iOS). We hope this will change someday!

This is not the same thing at all but I think for some of you it can be a replacement:
It is possible to mirror your tablet screen to your computer and interact with the tablet from the computer using this free and open-source software: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy
This software can also work wirelessly (after an initial setup, required upon every reboot). It works well with conferencing apps that support screen sharing, so it could be a viable alternative to a native desktop app
