Select Paper Color
I cannot choose the color of notes - only white paper.
Sometimes it makes my eyes sore - you know the eye pain from the brightness of the electronics.
If I can change even the color of the notes like from white to black, then It would be definitely great for those who spend so much time with ur papyrus.
293 votesYou can now choose any color for the blank background type!

Still increase performance on Writing
When using Write, the writing 'seems' immediate. When writing in Papyrus, it lags about half a second. Sometimes even leaving a bit of writing behind. I tried different settings, but the lag is always noticable. Apps like 'Note Anytime' and 'Write' are faster in writing feedback (the latter is fastest I have found so far). Please check the code in response to writing, whether it can be optimized.

Export to file
I'm only able to share my note with other apps such as email. However, no direct export to sdcard or device storage possible. I often use the notes in presentations. So exporting the pdf to Some directory on sdcard or to device storage would be great.
89 votesPapyrus 2.0 is rolling out with the ability to export notes to your device or SD card. When exporting a note, choose “Save to device”.

Export an entire notebook at once
Right now you can export an individual note as a pdf, but it would be convenient if you could export an entire notebook with all the notes it contains all at once.
I would suggest exporting it as one giant pdf with an index that lists each individual note as a subsection of that pdf (with the title of the subsection being the title of the individual note). But exporting it as a folder with multiple pdf files inside of it could also work.
187 votesYou can now easily export all the notes in a notebook to PDFs! See this FAQ article for details: http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1961860

Allow to copy and paste between pages.
The app currently does not allow users to copy and paste between pages in a single note. It would also be helpfully to be able to copy and paste between notebooks.
37 votesThe ability to copy and paste between pages (or notes) has been available since the initial release of Papyrus. Use the selection tool to select the desired items. Choose “copy”. Navigate to another page or open another note, open the overflow menu (three dots in the upper right corner or menu key on some devices) and click “paste”.

Change the order notes are shown within a notebook.
I'd like to be able to change the order that my notes show up in a notebook. Currently they appear in chronological order by their created date. This might go along with being able to sort the notes within a notebook.
5 votesYou can choose the sort order for notes inside your notebooks by opening the overflow menu (3 dots in the upper right corner or menu key on some devices) and choosing “sort notes by” then choose your sort order!

make the true eraser function work with your finger (like the normal eraser), not just when you switch to it.
Writing with your stylus and erasing with you finger is great, so is the true eraser that I've bought. It would be perfect if when I used my finger as an eraser it automatically used the true eraser, so I don't have to use the menu to select it.

Alphabetize notebooks when moving notes to folder
When I try to move my notes to a certain folder, the list of folders is arranged in the order it was created without any ability to change the order. I would like to be able to alphabetize this list.
1 voteWhen moving a note to a notebook, the notebook options are sorted to match the way you have chosen to display them in the Notebooks menu (either alphabetically or by creation date).
Please feel free to email us at help@squidnotes.com if you have any questions!

undo and redo
the app has a CTRL-Z undo feature but there's no CTRL-Y redo feature
too many times I've deleted whole notes and not been able to bring them back1 voteThe keyboard shortcut for redo is Ctrl + Shift + Z. FYI, you can also tap the redo (and undo) buttons in the action bar at the top. Please see this FAQ article for a list of keyboard shortcuts: http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1201054

Add Pages in between Notes
I like being able to annotate .pdf versions of my professor's slides, however, if I want to add more notes, I have to go all the way to the end of the file, then add a page, then drag it to the right spot. It would be so much easier if I could just add a blank page right after my current page.
11 votesThis is already possible (as Tony mentioned in the comments). Just long press the current page number to insert a page or PDF before the current page. Please see http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/501193 and http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1136155

Enlargement of pdf-files on Chromebooks without touchscreen
Older Chromebooks (Chrome OS) without touchscreen have been updated to install android apps. For me, it was not possible to enlarge an imported pdf-document (Format DIN-A-4) without touch-function. Therefore I can not edit pdf-Documents in Squid, because they are too small and I can not enlarge them without touch-function. Please implement a possibility to enlarge them on older chromebooks without touchscreen.
