Export to file
I'm only able to share my note with other apps such as email. However, no direct export to sdcard or device storage possible. I often use the notes in presentations. So exporting the pdf to Some directory on sdcard or to device storage would be great.
Papyrus 2.0 is rolling out with the ability to export notes to your device or SD card. When exporting a note, choose “Save to device”.

They are stored locally on your device and then uploaded. They are stored under android/data/com.steadfastinnovation.android.projectpapyrus/cache . I do this all the time when I want to mass export completed notes as PDFs for work.

Same here: on Android I'm able to save exported PDF to file thanks to a specific "Save to SDcard" app, but nothing like that in Win10 so I bought "Export to PDF" and it's unusable as it's just "sharing" to othzr apps instead of storing to a good old file
As a result the expected usage to annotate & sign PDF sent by colleagues is impossible and I'll surely not recommend it as is. Dommage ! -

I am still waiting for this ability. Under windows 8 I had a work-around of using Evernote and then saving to file from Evernote. Now under Windows 10 this no longer seems to work.

Anyone have any workarounds while we wait for this to get implemented? I saw one lower in the pile that worked for mobile devices ("send to SD card" app), but I'm on a windows pc and it didn't work for me.

Now is this is implemented. Is this for the windows based version as well? I ask because when trying to export. I am only given two options, Microsoft Mail and One Note. Neither of which will i ever use. I do find that Squid for Android is better than it is for Windows.

Happy to pay for exporting if it will export to the device storage. Not happy to pay for exporting if you can only do it via the "sharing" option. I use Papyrus for confidential client info and don't want to send that via email.

Any news on this? I need this functionality for Windows 8. This is so important. And should be trivial to implement.
Are there any known workarounds for Windows 8? I don't see folder sync as export option. Is there any other app that I could try?

The following app will add the sdcard file system to the "Share Via" list once you've clicked on Export->Share: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.gelin.android.sendtosd

Please, I want to save directly to a folder of my choice on the tablet and not have to share it. This is very important. 3 Stars now bit will be 5 when I can save.

I would also like to see this feature implemented. It seems that if importing PDF is supported, it should also support exporting to local storage. At least then the user can move the file or share it however they need.

with the latest release (feb 23), this feature seem to be the logical path.

Direct export to local storage or sd card would be very useful. My current workaround is Share to email, open the PDF attachment in QuickOffice, then Save As to a local directory.

i agree this is a hassle, if you need a pdf right away without the need of an internet connection.

If the notes live only within the app, this app is not very useful to me. I need a way to print and share.
