Export an entire notebook at once
Right now you can export an individual note as a pdf, but it would be convenient if you could export an entire notebook with all the notes it contains all at once.
I would suggest exporting it as one giant pdf with an index that lists each individual note as a subsection of that pdf (with the title of the subsection being the title of the individual note). But exporting it as a folder with multiple pdf files inside of it could also work.

It's nice that you can export it as PDFs but I was really hoping to be able to export in a format that you could later reimport, like a partial backup. Could that still be added? Thank you!

Also, pls have the option of exporting it into a local device like an SSD and choose which notebook to export as pdf. An entire notebook can be displayed as a file with notes as the subfiles.

@jr Squid is definitely still in active development. We agree this feature is long overdue. It's on the todo list, but it just hasn't been made a priority yet. We're a really small team with a lot to do.

How can this still be "planned"?
With pdf export for single notes already in place, this would just need a simple iteration over all notes in a notebook. A motivated developer would be able to implement this within a few hours, testing included.
Is this app still in active development? Doesn't seem like it. -

What if we take indexing a step further and have it create a table of contents at the beginning that links to each subsection too? That would be amazing!

Piggybacking on this, it'd also be nice to have the option to export a specific set of pages in addition to the "Entire Note" and "Current Page" options already available.

This is already possible with "cloud services". When notes are exported to the cloud, they are all converted to PDF. So, I have a folder on Dropbox where PDF versions of all my notes exist.

You could add this option to the "export to pdf" feature. Instead of selecting all notebooks, you could tick which notebooks you want to export.

The ability to export a complete notebook would complete this app for me. With that capability, I would certainly go for the paid version with shapes. Only just installed, but I am sold already.

I would suggest to export a complete notebook, but not as one giant PDF but as a file structure. e.g. a folder by the name of the notebook, containing PDFs named according to the names of the notes within the notebook - one file for each note.
Most important about this idea however, is the possibility to bulk export notes to another format for convenient handling andd backup without having to root the device and backup databases. -

I need to be able to send notes to almost any person.
Allow for the squeezing out of the extra white space and the insertion of soft page break icons so the resulting document will paginate as you want.
Allow export of single note too.
