Adjustable grid size
It would be great if I could change the size of the grid items. It is inconvenient having to scroll up and down only viewing 3-4 notes at a time looking for the correct one.
57 votesWe've redesigned the note (& now folder) view in Squid and we'd love to hear your feedback on having different or adjustable grid sizes for notes and folders! Please join the Beta on Google Play and opt-in to Squid10 to see the new designs.
For those who are interested in a list view, the new designs in Squid10 also have a list view option. Please let us know what you think!

Add "wrist check" or palm guard
I often write with a stylus, but I rest my hand on the screen. Can you add a wrist check/palm guard feature please?

Sync between devices
I would like to have my notes automatically appear on my other devices with Squid installed. e.g. Create a note on device A and it appears on device B. If possible allow editing too from that device.
2,224 votesI wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!

Please add ability to rotate selected items to various degrees (not just 90).

Infinite page layout with option of vertical only scroll or horizontal only scroll
I want to just keep writing fast and scrolling down but not have to think about text alignment or that my paragraphs are skewing to the left or right. A "lock margins" option would be nice.

Continuous vertical scrolling (continuous page mode)
It would be nice to be able to start writing on the next page while still viewing the bottom of the previous page.

As mentioned previously, this is challenging since notes in Squid can contain both fixed and infinite sized pages, but we have some ideas to make this work that we will be exploring.

Zoom window for writing
Like in "good notes" for iPad, you could insert a zoom window witch allows you to write easier and faster. The good notes website describes it as followed:
GoodNotes provides the zoom window to assist you to write in small size with your fingers or with capacitive styluses. Inside the zoom window contains a zoomed view corresponding to a rectangular area on a page.353 votesThis is something we're investigating while designing the Squid10 note editor.

Add option to completely disable touch input on the writing area
Other programs (like write) offer the ability to turn on an option to reject all touch input not from the pen (including any zoom). I notice that when I put my hand on the page to write the program constantly recognizes my meaty paw as fingers trying to zoom (even though I disabled zooming in options). I would like this ability to prevent the page from moving around when I am trying to write.

create objects and save to personal library
I create diagrams to tell a story, but there are tons objects I draw and constantly have to redraw them... (I'm not referring in the moment, I can use duplicating for that..)
ei... If i draw a laptop or a stick figure with a certain expression one day , and in a week use those drawings again, I would love to be able to insert what I already drew in the past...
Logistics; draw an object, select object, save to a library, to a specific category I created, when drawing be able to insert a drawing from my library

Insert/Remove vertical space
When I take notes I frequently need to go back later to insert additional material at a specific place. It would therefore be very important to have the ability to create such space by moving all material below further down. You can find this well implemented in the Microsoft Journal software, for example, see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IE/windows-vista/Format-a-Journal-note

Make a Clipboard History, so you may use a variety of your own shapes (i.e. Greek letters in math) regularly throughout note taking
In subjects such as math, physics, engineering, biology or other sciences, many symbols and variables with subscripts / superscripts are constantly used and repeated. I find myself using the Duplicate Selection feature

See total number of pages
I miss that I can't see how many pages a note have. Now I must check on the arrow all the time. If it said 1(2) then I would know I have two pages and I became happy!
