Horizontal margin lock would be genius! You could keep scrolling down.
I like you can lock the zoom but I am left handed and move the page from side to side when I write.
locking margins would be great!

It will be great if we are panning vertically then the horizontal panning is disabled and vice versa i.e. [unidirectional panning]. This Can be be applied or optionally applied in both infinite or fixed size pages. as in XODO pdf reader annotator.

Like that we can find in notability

I'd like to be able to scroll continuously vertically with a fixed width. This would help with organizing my notes. I sometimes get off track and have a long line of writing going far off to the left and it makes viewing my notes more difficult.

Squid, please do this!

I really like how the infinite scroll works, i.e. I can just keep scrolling into more space, rather than most other apps where you keep getting to the end of the page and keep having to click a button to extend the page (then after a while that button gets greyed out!). I also like how the pages work, being able to create new ones and switch between them with the buttons at the top. But it would be really nice to have four options to separately turn on/off the infinite scroll going left, right, up, and down.
People could then customise it for their needs, eg:
Down only for note taking (this is how I'm trying to use it, but it keeps slipping sideways);
Right only (or left and right only) for creating an illustrated timeline or panoramic doodle;
Left, right, up, and down all on for mind maps; etc.

Please, add a feauture for infinite page size of A5 and A4. So that, I can use A5 page and it will be infinite downward. If I use infinite pages, I have no boundry and exported pdf files are not regular.

I use squid for lecture notes in university class. If a new feauture is added, it will be exported perfect pdf files with A4/A5 pages and I can share my notes with other students on squid.

Ya this is a feature I think would totally kick ass! The pdf export does well if you keep your notes within reason of the left side of the page, but having it fixed to the width of piece of paper would be awesome. I couldn't tell you how many notes I couldn't print or export to pdf due to having no x-axis bound restrictions. The only option right now is to make separate pages, but that gets lame pretty fast xD

Hoping I can bring this suggestion back. Aside from the good points of needing a page printed and still keeping everything inside the boundaries, maybe this can help with the lag in showing the contents of a page.

Thats what I thought when I first used Papyrus! This is the only thing I miss so far.

I agree, it would be good to be able to take the paper sizes and instead of pressing a button to go to the next page, scroll down and find a new empty page. This would be perfect for situations where you take notes that might subsequently need to be printed or distributed, for example, to students.

I think it should be a good idea to have infinite down canvas only, as you can simply write notes and carry them downwards and that way you cannot loose track to where something is. Perfect for students!

Waiting for this since I use Papyrus! It's a bit unconfortable to change page when you don't have enough space left ...

In addition to being able to do something like 8.5 x infinity, if there were dotted lines or similar at what would normally be page boundaries, that would be helpful. (manually switching pages is cumbersome ... I prefer to reserve that for separating different things). Anyhow, that's my 2 cents.

More page options would be helpful for uni students trying to produce PDFs for studying.

when using infinite paper I am worry about staying at some "bound" of page - like:

..also for export to PDF it should be needed

perfect option looks like list with standard paper sizes (for example A4, A5, letter,...) with options with checkbox "have infinite height" and "have infinite width"
