  1. Enable Air View Scrolling

    Add the ability / option to use Air View scroll when using a Samsung S-Pen on Galaxy Note 2. In the samsung apps you can scroll by hovering the S-Pen near to the edge of the screen. It would be great if we could scroll around notes like this.

  2. Scroll bar?

    Please consider adding a scroll bar so that we can turn off finger recognition and still be able to move down the page. This would get rid of the problem of palms inadvertently brushing against the screen and making stray marks.

  3. Save colors to a palette so they don't "disappear"

    The current functionality for colors saves the 12 most recently used colors. Every time you create or select a new color, the oldest color gets bumped off the list.

    I use a set of colors to categorize list items, format headings, highlight items, etc. Being able to change the color of anything in a note is a really powerful and core feature.

    However, I need more than 12 colors (not an infinite number - 20 would be great). And I want to be able to play around with new colors, without having my "palette" overwritten. It's a real pain to…

  4. Allow a screen recording feature

    Android needs a quality whiteboard recording app. Squid is a high quality note taking app that can be a great presentation app when used live. Allowing a screen recording feature would allow for an awesome presentation app anytime.

  5. One Click Cloud Export

    I purchased cloud export feature. However, right now it takes too many steps to export. I also set up automatic export but the interval is too long. Sometimes I want to be able to view the doc on a different machine (say laptop) right after I finish editing.

    Currently if you want to export a note:
    Within a note, MENU - EXPORT - SHARE - ADD TO DROPBOX - SELECT FOLDER - ADD.
    Out of a note, MENU - SETTINGS - BACKUP AND RESTORE - CLOUD BACKUP - (scroll down) EXPORT NOW.

  6. change transparency of page lines

    Small thing, but it would be nice to change how bold my square grid is. I know you've provided a choice between bold or not bold but I would ideally like to tailor it more to my liking. Love the app by the way

    I currently use a note app that allows me to choose the color of paper for each note type; secured note, which I include my passwords, docs (ID cards, passports banks, acct etc)

    For those needing an overview of the year.

  11. Allow exporting/importing with Google Keep

    Until I discovered Squidnotes, I had always used Google Keep as my notetaking app. I'd really hate to lose all of my notes from Keep, but I want all of my notes in one place using the same app. It'd be great if there were a way to export from Keep to Squid.

  12. Create table of content for large imported pdf documents.

    It would be really time saving if large pdf documents had a table of content like most pdf readers do. Having to scroll page by page to get to page 2000 of a 3000 page pdf document is not really fun... and imagine you had to then return to page 500... argh!

  13. Two finger background rotation

    Allow users to rotate the background graph paper, lines , etc... using two fingers or a compass to select the angle of the background; then a "snap back" button to re correct for output. This would allow users to write at an angle, holding the device in one hand and the stylus in the other without having the awkward angle to maintain level text.

  17. Improve PDF software for Japanese/Chinese characters being imported/exported

    Since importing or exporting Japanese PDF with text information is garbled and unusable, please change the software related to the PDF function to one compatible with Japanese.

    Exported PDF, Japanese characters corrupted.

  19. Option to change the color of the backround lines

    I would like to have the option, that I can change the backround lines from blue to black or grey.
    I use this app in my university, so i have many notes which i have to print out. I print my notes in colour, because I mark many things with colour. The problem is, that the backround lines are blue. So I have to change the blue ink of my printer double in the time I have to change red or yellow once. And I can only buy the blue ink in combination of red and yellow.

  20. Edit imported PDF

    I will gladly pay for the extra feature with import PDF if I can delete some parts of text and reedit the PDF I have imported!
