Option to change the color of the backround lines
I would like to have the option, that I can change the backround lines from blue to black or grey.
I use this app in my university, so i have many notes which i have to print out. I print my notes in colour, because I mark many things with colour. The problem is, that the backround lines are blue. So I have to change the blue ink of my printer double in the time I have to change red or yellow once. And I can only buy the blue ink in combination of red and yellow.19 votes -

I have multiple notebooks for class, but some I'd like to be graph paper by default and some I'd like to be lined by default. I should be able to have individual settings be notebook specific

Simple Units of measurment for the shapes
Simple Units of measurment for the shapes. Like If i need a line that is 8 cm long i Just drag the line and a number with the exact lenght to maybe 2 dezimal spaces is shown above the middle of the line

Merge Backups
I have a back up set of notes and then had to factory reset my device. I immediately started taking important notes without restoring my previous backup. Now I want to merge my two backups so I can continue editing all of my notes without having to jump between backups.

Calendar notebook. Be able to note items by day and view items noted by time/date.
Add a calendar view for note where you select dates on a calendar to view notes created or edited that day
Left side where see notebooks show default entry Calendar. Touch and it shows a month calendar with bold dates with notes associated. Touch a date to add a note to that date.

Cropping imported image with lasso
Allowing to crop newly imported image or PDF via lasso would be awesome.

Save / Export as TRANSPARENT *.png
I think they best way to support things like OneNote / Windows Journals and other Inking application would be to have the ability to save / export a page as a transparent *.png.
Why? Its really simple, if you've got it as a transparent *.png you can easily import the inked text in serveral application. This would be the best workaround.

Add a feature that allows you to insert tables between text lines
As an accounting student, some course notes come with questions and not enough space given for the answer.

Copy from other source and paste directly from clipboard
Hello I am currently using Samsung galaxy note 8 and using this app for heavt note taking etc.
It is a great app but missing a feature that I want to be added.
Whenever I take notes it seems like I cannot directly copy and save in android clipboard and paste into the app.
Copy and paste happens either only within the Squid app
Or I have to save the images into my system directory. (Not temporary save on clipboard) so I can insert it from image import.I wish I could directly copy from other sources outside of the…

Save annotations back to original PDF
Squid is great for marking students work, adding mark up over their submitted PDF. Once added, however, it would be really handy to be able to save the annotated file back to the original location, overwriting the original.

Darkness of highlighter
Currently each over stroke of the highlighter makes the colour darker. An option could be added to stop this so the highlighter colour stays the same no matter how many times you over stroke

I create diagrams to tell a story, but there are tons objects I draw and constantly have to redraw them... (I'm not referring in the moment, I can use duplicating for that..)
ei... If i draw a laptop or a stick figure with a certain expression one day , and in a week use those drawings again, I would love to be able to insert what I already drew in the past...
