Allow a screen recording feature
Android needs a quality whiteboard recording app. Squid is a high quality note taking app that can be a great presentation app when used live. Allowing a screen recording feature would allow for an awesome presentation app anytime.

It might be useful if Squid notes can record the sequence of note taking. It can be shared to the others and the understanding of note can be increasing. It can be work as like white board animation and if it can be exported to video file, that will be great as well.

I love that you have sports templates but I would like to be able to record the process of making my notes so my players can see them being made and have more clarity on the court

A dedicated screen recorder app can record presentations in high def. Allow the option to export to mp4/webm. Also make sure the functionality records audio.

Yes, it is very important for educators. Screen record and voice record are very features for whiteboard, on line class, etc. Maybe it's not the main focus of Squid, but for the educators is will be a great improvement of the software. It is true that there are other apps that record screen, but it's not convenient and not work very well as native Squid option.

just hope that very soon they will have an update for the writing portion where when drawing or taking notes the there can be a recording button to show somewhat a step by step review

This feature is unnecessary, there are already apps that record your screen. Just use those with this app.
