An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI use Squid to make videos of all my lectures by now. The only reason why they sometimes look a bit clumsy is that I always have to draw and undo to show what I'm talking about. A pointer would be great!

I wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI understand that syncing is difficult with potential concurrent edits. But while you are working on this high priority, perhaps you could at least provide easy workarounds. Like, being able to export a note, send it to another device and import it there - not as a pdf as but as proper squid note.
Or even just save the backup on a per-notebook or per-note basis, so one could manually copy some part to another device's backup. There are many things that have nothing to do with the inherent difficulty of syncing that would at least make it possible to get a note from one device to another somehow.Anonymous supported this idea · -

This is something we're investigating while designing the Squid10 note editor.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThis should be fairly easy to implement, too.

Make a paid "Pro" version of the app instead of using multiple in-app purchase for premium features.
701 votesThank you all for your wonderful feedback! I just wanted to set a few things straight.
First, in-app purchases are tied to your Google or Samsung account, depending on which store you downloaded Papyrus from. Purchases are automatically restored or enabled by Google Play or Samsung Apps on all devices you are signed into with that account. This means, if you get a new device, have multiple devices, or need to reinstall Papyrus, you only need to purchase the premium features once (as long as you use the same account). This is true for all applications in these stores (not just Papyrus) as it is handled by Google and Samsung. Please note, however, that it can sometimes take a little while for purchases to show up on other devices or after just installing Papyrus (usually it’s instant though).
Second, we’re always trying to figure out the best business model for…
