Allow custom templates for new notes

CUSTOM TEMPLATES ARE SUPPORTED - just perhaps not implemented in the way you're expecting. Create a new note using Import PDF, then select the PDF file that contains your custom template. Use Duplicate page to make as many copies of the custom layout as you'd like. You can even save the whole note as a template to reuse - exit the note, select it, then select Duplicate.
Using custom templates does require the extra step of selecting the PDF file to import it, but in exchange you can have as many reusable custom page layouts as you want. I use custom templates for almost every note I create in Squid, and I use Squid all the time, every day, for many different purposes. This is a fantastic feature - I wish more people knew about it. Hope this helps.

Please let us upload custom templates: I use an e-ink tablet. Due to its limited contrast range, none of the default templates are visible.

I'd like to be able to use my custom page layouts and templates. Like with Onyx Boox that allows the import of custom templates in png format. Thanks

wow! It has been more than 6 years since this thread got started, does the develper even care about his cuatomer's opinion?

100% a yes, just set up a page by importing a PDF to write on for a large project and discovered there's no way to quickly create a duplicate / template.

I definitely vote for the ability to create ones own template, or at least copy and paste pages into new notes as a template

I'd love to see some custom templates especially for financial records. Some templates I'd like to be able to access and download are financial ledgers such as: Account Activity ledgers with columns for items such as - posting date, transaction date, Item (e.g. Dep, Debit, ck#), Description, debit (-), credit (+), balance.
Also ledgers for Balance Sheets, Income to Debt, Assets & Liabilities, etc.

I would love to be able to design my own template for a weekly or daily planner and then save and reuse that template for future day/week or monthly planning - similar to the ability to create my own templates in MS Word and reuse them. Extending this further would be the ability have a way to submit templates for others to be able to use as well.

Found a way to do so. Hold the pagenumber with open document and you get the option to add a page, import a pdf (here you can choose a single-page-pdf with your own background) or delete the current page.

I agree with this one, there are many requests for custom background why not give subscribers the option of making their own?

It would be wonderfull if I could use my own single-page-PDFs as background for each page individually.
At the moment I have to create a PDF with the required amount of pages for each document, but I don't always know at the beginning, how long the document will be... -

Being able to make my own templates would be verry Welcome Especially When it would be possible to make a two page template where the second page would be the template for all consecutive pages

Could you make a function that would allow us to make personal layout? There are too many layouts I want beside already existing ones and make it myself would be much more easier than request every layout I want

Import an existing single page pdf as a new "page type" template. That way you don't have to keep importing your pre-made 10 page pdf of isometric grids. :)

lo sfondo sul quale si scrive è troppo pesante.Quando mi muovo nella pagina il refresh dell'immagine è veramente lento.Questo rende poco piacevole l'esperienza di scrittura.

opening a note/pdf/picture as a template would save time as multiple pages would have the same look other pages in the note. Allowing users to signify a PDF as a template would allow the user to create templates for whatever purpose they are using Squid for.

Custom note templates would be super useful, allowing me to create multiple pages with the same template

I would prefare a 2 page pdf document as template. First page for first page and second page for all following pages. So, a different front page is possible with more information, e.g. date, title, persons ...

A degree of customization of the notes is always desirable. It would be great to choose an image to the note template.
To use a personal image or pdf as a template of notes include beauty and profissionalism to our jobs
