Allow exporting/importing with Google Keep
Until I discovered Squidnotes, I had always used Google Keep as my notetaking app. I'd really hate to lose all of my notes from Keep, but I want all of my notes in one place using the same app. It'd be great if there were a way to export from Keep to Squid.

Have selected areas lockable at the size they are, also rotatable.
Have selected areas lockable at the size they are, so when you move them they don't get changed in shape or size. Also rotatable. Put a dot outside that toggles between lock/unlock, have it menu selectable to be default set as one option and to default afther every use or when toggled. Also another dot for rotation.

Bring pen tools like Inkredible Pro app. That's what squid lacks behind. Use this app you will get to know about beauty of writing.
More shapes and its controlling features like autocad.

Add the option of showing (virtual) grid (or other background) over the pdf contents
As of now, the imported pdf is shown 'as is' without the option of adding background.
What would be convenient for pdf annotation is the option of showing a virtual grid (or other background) over the pdf contents; it will allow for much nicer handwritten notes.
When the annotation is done, the exported pdf does not have to include the grid (or whatever the background was). In fact, it would be very useful, if the exported pdf did not have the virtual grid (or background) at all.

Allow splitting infinite page into multiple fixed size pages when exporting and printing
I am an engineering student and it would be great to be able to keep writing on what seems like one page when doing derivations or keeping track of related equations. I cannot use infinite page for this because when it comes to exporting and printing, it prints out microscopic because so much is on one page. I have convinced many classmates to purchase tablets because they fall in love with the neatness and ease of notetaking that Squid provides. This is the only feature that is missing; besides that it's perfect!

Adding pop up arrow keys for positioning shapes and images
Adding a pop up set of arrows (left, right,up,down, rotate left, roatate right) to allow accurate positioning of shapes and images on screen (movement steps user-defined by no. of pixels per click)
It can sometimes be cumbersome using your finger/stylus to make small accurate moves to shapes/images
An input for scaling objects numerically also useful (i.e. scale up by a factor of 2 or scale down by .5 etc.)Like a "drag" button

Cross-Platform Cloud Backup & Restore
Hi there,
I love Squid on my two Android tablets (Samsung Note 10 and Note 8), but on my Microsoft Surface Pro (Windows 8 and now 10), I've never been able to restore my Android cloud backups onto my Windows Squid. When I try to restore from one of my Android Cloud backups (via DropBox), it seems to be working, but then it gives me an error message, telling me to check my internet connection (which is fine).
Restores from Android tablet to Android tablet work just fine, and Windows Squid can SEE by two Android backups, but it fails…
