quick colour change via tools like brush
I hope to add the function of modifying the handwriting effect, such as colour, to achieve the function of rapidly modifying the handwriting effect. For example, we can use a tool like brush to change the colour of handwriting rapidly and conveniently. The original function of selecting and modifying the color is rather tedious, and a small part of the modification is acceptable, and a large number of modifications will consume time and energy.

Post-it function to add notes into small spaces on imported documents
I often use Squid to mark up papers and reports. However, in text-heavy documents there is often very little white space left on the page to add notes. Therefore a facility to add an expandable Post-it Note would be a very useful feature.

Static zoom bar
Add an easily accessible zoom bar to the top of the notes page (instead of a popup). The popup is too small and disappears after a second or two. The zoom level should never go away.

Improve stylus style to be like s-notes
Basically, copy the style/feel of the s-note software which is so much better than what we currently get with squid. Let me explain.
Squid uses the pressure sensitivity of the stylus to control the width of the line only. S-note uses the pressure for the width and the opacity of the line. This results in having a better feeling when drawing multiple lines over one another. Important also, squid uses a width range that is too big. This means that when I'm writing something the size of the letters may vary so much that it gets unreadable. Therefore I usually…

currently the ap only uses the pen button but imagine how it would be if we could use some gestures
seamingly changing between tools without having the "trouble" of choosing from the toolbar

Make pen color transparent. Not highlighters.
I want to write down with transparent pen, not highlight. Highlighters have retangular ends and I don't like it. Add transparency adjust bar.

Favorite Pens / Saved Pens / Presets
It would be nice to be able to create a pen (size & color) and then save it as a preset so I can quickly select it without having to manually adjust both the size and color every time I want to change pens.

Quick draw / auto shape detection for lines, circles, and other shapes
Auto shape detection. This is especially very important for lines. Notability in iOS has this. If you draw a line and hold it for a second it will become a straight line that you can adjust. Simple convert to shapes will do for rest of the shapes. Best note taking app on the market, my GPA (civil engineer) went up 0.5 just thanks to you guys. Well done !

A LaTeX-based Equation Writer
Hi there! I would like to see a way to compile neat-looking equations in Squid through LaTeX. LaTeX is what professional scientists use to type beautiful equations in text, and right now I see no way of doing so in Squid apart from writing them by hand.

Ability to delete note from within note
You have to exit note to be able to delete it. It would be good if you're in the note go to options and then have an option to delete it.
