Enhance text tool with text wrapping, direct input, and resizable text boxes
Need text input directly on page instead of the pop out input box. Also need text wrapping for smaller sheet formats for those who type as well as write notes. I would gladly pay the fee for that but not the current input
566 votesText tool now supports in-line editing, text wrapping, and resizable text boxes!
When adding new text, the text is automatically wrapped when the cursor reaches the edge of the screen or page.
Pasting text from the clipboard also wraps the text at the edge of the screen/page, based on the current zoom level.
After resizing the width of a text box, the text always wraps at the edge of the box.

Where can I get a tutorial, one that I can play over and over again? Or better yet, a .pdf users manual.

Bad support of Courier New in pdf's
Importing of pdf's works fine for most of the time. However today I noticed problems in some of my programming textbooks - the code is usually written in Courier New font and in Papyrus it unfortunately has some weird spacing. It would by awesome, if you could patch this thing. Thanks.

Quick Tools
More functionality for the S Pen button. When you click the S Pen button, a little tool box should pop up close to the position of the pen. The tool box should have your most recent colors and custom pens/writing tools.

Default Zoom Setting
Add a setting for default zoom for all pages on a note or PDF import. I use Papyrus for reading PDF books, and I would love to set the default, locked zoom to Fit Width ahead of time, instead of doing it page by page.

Improve moving features
Currently, moving text and images after being placed is not possible. A "select tool" that implements the SPen button or a scalable rectangle could remedy this easily and effectively. In addition, selection of images after they have been placed is a feature that desperately needs to be added.

to allow a trial of premium features
I am very tempted by the pro features, for example the ability to edit pdfs and the additional erasure tools, but would be extremely grateful for the ability to test them out before commiting to purchase. For example the ability to anotate a fixed example pdf just to make sure the implementation is all I would hope for would instatntly convince me to pay for the upgrade.

Allow cloud backups to work on a note-by-note basis (incremental backups)
Currently, cloud backup saves one single file to my Dropbox account. If I have a few large notes (containing annotated photos, for example) my database can quickly get HUGE, and every backup session takes forever (or fails, very frequently). It would be great if Squid could do incremental backups so only new or updated notes will be uploaded to the cloud.
220 votesA major update to cloud backup is now available to everyone on Google Play! Backups are now created at the note level, meaning only the notes that were created or edited since the last backup will be uploaded to the cloud. As a result, backups are now MUCH faster and can easily resume after being interrupted.
This has been a long time coming, so thanks for your patience. Please try it out and let us know if you have any feedback!

Add the ability to backup, export, and/or save to SD card
With the costs of micro SD card very cheap, this would be an option that would be of use to the average user.
180 votesPapyrus 2.0 is rolling out with the ability to create and restore backups locally to your device or SD card. Just open the Papyrus settings and choose “Backup and restore” then “Local backup”. In addition, when exporting individual notes to PDF, PNG, or JPEG, you can choose “Save to device” to save the exported note to your device or SD card.

Engineering Paper Background
Engineering Paper Background would be great.
In many engineering classes assignments can ONLY be submitted on engineering paper so I am currently unable to use papyrus for these assignments.
