   This is something we're investigating while designing the Squid10 note editor. This is one of the options for Fewer clicks to switch tools that we are exploring.

5. Make the highlighter go behind the normal pen texts, so that the pen color doesn't get changed by the highlighter.

   I would also like to see this feature, scince thats one of the main advantages Microsoft one note has over squid
