This is one of our top priorities for the Squid10 note editor.

Alternate idea: Create your own quick access toolbar of favourites/shortcuts of customised tools you use often (including colour, size etc).Anonymous supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI like to take notes in the margins of the articles/handouts for uni. As doing this with handwriting often ends up a bit too chunky, i like to type them and its fine that they're small as i rarely print anything so the zoom function is great... but the scroll bar for the text size is a pain. As i'm often using very small fonts, the difference between sizes, 4, 6 or 8 matters, but its so very annoying and difficult to use the scroll bar to set them. I swear, my fingers aren't that fat. + or - buttons, or a drop down menu or something would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!

This is something we're investigating while designing the Squid10 note editor.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI have the same issue. I think it'd be great if we could just stretch out the margins a bit. as in, add extra blank space around the edge as if we were shrinking a picture on a larger canvas.

Create a favourites bar to quickly and easily allow switching between tools withouth having to go through the menu.
