  1. Import PDF into Infinite "Board" Squid Note

    I would love to be able to import PDFs into the "infinite page" Note type. Imagine importing an exercise sheet vertically into the note, and then solving the problems alongside the pdf. Often annotating pdfs with answers leaves no room for working.

    Would be better if you can rotate the notes/page, especially for the the football template, it is difficult to write sideways or upsidedown with the templates we have now

    Hi Squid Team,

    I’m a big fan of your app and use it every day as a student. I currently use a basic disc-tip stylus (not an S Pen) and sometimes even write with my finger. I love how smooth Squid is for handwritten notes, but I wanted to suggest a few features that could make the app even better — especially for users like me who don’t have advanced stylus support.

  10. Dark mode should have dark paper background

    Dark mode is helpful for working at night or for battery life but the notes are currently white even in dark mode. It would be helpful to have a dark mode where white notes appear black. It would also be nice to customise background colour of the note pages e.g yellow, pink, blue can be easier to read off than white for some people

  16. Add linear measurement calculator widget for architecture and design work

    Hi Squid team,

    Love using Squid for my architecture coursework, but I've hit a consistent workflow issue that's driving me nuts. When I sketch floor plans or work through design calculations in my notes, I frequently need to convert measurements and calculate linear footage.

    The problem is I have to stop what I'm doing, switch apps to something like this linear feet calculator (https://zeecalculator.com/linear-feet-calculator), do my calculation, then come back to Squid. By then, I've lost my train of thought, and the creative flow is completely broken.

    What would be amazing is a small calculator widget inserted into…

  17. So a better tool interface is much needed

    Working on a pdf....just want to highlight... Somehow every tool acts like a shape draw with dotted red line and ineffective. Quite frankly it sucks. A tad aggravated to have spent money on an app that does not function properly...

  18. Blue coloured distracting upper bar

    While instructing my students and utilizing the Squid app as my whiteboard, the blue-colored upper bar detracts from the professional appearance of the board. Make a feature of full screen mode while teaching online or presenting my notes so that students can see only the white coloured board. Thank you
