Dark mode should have dark paper background
Dark mode is helpful for working at night or for battery life but the notes are currently white even in dark mode. It would be helpful to have a dark mode where white notes appear black. It would also be nice to customise background colour of the note pages e.g yellow, pink, blue can be easier to read off than white for some people

Seconding this! Having a proper dark mode would really help me in my evening meetings. I currently have to manually configure each page to have a blank black background. Having to do that means I cant use the premium note backgrounds so I may have to cancel my subscription.

Thats the only thing prevents me from using Squid as my daily driver. Also new ui is great. Thanks for hard work 👍🏻
