    Your suggestion is good. Implementing a dark mode where white notes appear black would indeed enhance comfort during nighttime use and help with battery life. Offering customizable background colors like yellow, pink, or blue would also provide a more personalized and accessible reading experience for users who find certain colors easier to read.
