This is something we're investigating while designing the Squid10 note editor. This is one of the options for Fewer clicks to switch tools that we are exploring.

E.g. Just one tap and you can change switch between blue pen, red pen, green pen, orange pen, yellow highlighter, and pink highlighter. ONE TAP. Also add the option to change your favourite pen/highlighter colours using the normal menu setup that we have now. And if you want other colours, then you go into the options to select and customise them.
Basically just the OneNote setup -

An error occurred while saving the comment Yanling commentedI realised the new page inserts before the current page so that you can insert the page before the FIRST page.
Alternatively, they can just ad the arrow + sign before the first page like how it is when you want to insert something after the last page. Either way, it's a matter of getting used to the system, not really an inconvenience. You can also rearrange pages when you go to the thumbnail menu

This is something we're investigating while designing the Squid10 note editor.
As mentioned previously, this is challenging since notes in Squid can contain both fixed and infinite sized pages, but we have some ideas to make this work that we will be exploring.
An error occurred while saving the comment Yanling commentedbut will the page scroll if you accidentally swipe it? currently it's more stable. It will be good if this option is implemented but we have the option to turn it on or off in the settings

Guys go see OneNote favourite pen and highlighter tools, they have 4 different pen and 2 different highlighters preset (that you can customise) at the top of the page so that you can switch between the presets with ONE TAP
