Sync between devices
I would like to have my notes automatically appear on my other devices with Squid installed. e.g. Create a note on device A and it appears on device B. If possible allow editing too from that device.
I wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!

The lack automatic synching between devices feature really hamstrings this app. The simplicity of use and the great interface are the only things that keep me returning. I cannot believe that this most necessary feature has not been addressed in spite of all the comments.

I second this. I can restore the backup from my phone to my tablet or vice versa, but if I have new notes on both devices I would lose data from one of them doing this. The changes need to be merged into the cloud database in near realtime rather than just backing up / replacing the whole database.
I use the app on both my Note 3 phone and Note 10.1 tablet and I need to be able to make changes from either device interchangeably. I paid for the cloud features so I could do things like make a shopping list on my tablet and then use the list from my phone at the store, etc... this is a critical feature in my opinion.

I would appreciate a status update since over a year has transpired since you commented on the interest in providing a sync option. Thanks.

Join I just bought the cloud pack and am very disappointed. Backing up every 12 hours was not what I thought I would get. :(
What I need is:
1) Automatic push after I save. I want to take notes on my tablet, drive to work, and be able to access them. Whether on my phone using papyrus app, or via the web viewing PDF.
2) I want it to sync both ways. Start editing on tablet, switch to phone while out, continue later on tablet.

Will users that purchased the backup/cloud service have to purchase another plugin for 2 ways sync?

Just paid for both premium add-ins, disappointed it doesn't allow for Sync between my Note II and Note 10.1. Looks like this has been planned for over a year now, will it ever happen?

Everything is moving towards cloud computing nowadays. Don't get left behind Papyrus! Sync ability is a must!

I see that this is planned since OCt 2012. Any progress on it as yet? This would be my note-app of choice if it could sync, since I use a Samsung Note 8 as tablet and a Samsung Note 2 as phone.

I agree very Strongly! I just purchased the cloud extension...and feel cheated, for it was to no avail. I still cannot sync between my galaxy note 8 and note 2

Please also include Sugarsync in your list of supported cloud services. I I just purchased the premium version for the cloud integration, but I prefer Sugarsync over both Box and Dropbox.

I can't believe this feature is not part of the premium package, for which I paid. Seems rudimentary to the point of assumption. Almost all other apps have this feature! Please quickly include it as its absence definitely hamstrings usefulness. Also, please include synchronization to Google Drive.

Please add automatic sync to Google Drive.
I use Papyrus everyday. It is my go to app. Unfortunately, if I am not using my tablet I do not have access to these files. I fear that I will loose them if something happens to my tablet.
Syncing would also help with an additional challenge - searching. I could more easily find the document in Drive, then view or edit in Papyrus. I have about 1000 Papyrus files, which are hard to find.

yes please! as a student who uses my Notes (10.1 and II) to take notes in class this would help me immensely. I use dropbox but this would be easier. You guys could even make it a Premium Pack like with the cloud/tools people would happily use it.

Please add more cloud providers such as SkyDrive and Sharefile that we can sync with. I dont use Box or DropBox, and Sharefile is used by many corporates that I deal with.

Btw, there's already a more voted topic suggesting the same, give your votes there ;)
