Import of vector graphics
It seems that "add image" only allows to import pixel graphics. I would like to import vector graphics like pdf, ps, or svg.

Add a widget shortcut to easily sync and backup database or export PDF files from the Android home screen
This is to make it easier to backup notes to the cloud manually rather than waiting for the scheduled sync time or going through the menus to start the sync.

S-Find Search Integration for Galaxy Note tablets
S-Find lists many apps it can include in its search results. Apps like Evernote are listed, but unfortunately Papyrus is not. I'm amazed at how good S-Find is at searching my inked notes from S Note and Evernote.

Saving different colors for different tools
When changing color of the new marker for example to yellow, it would be useful, that this color would be saved next time when switching to it. And so with the regular pen.

Add time stamps
A day planner option. Or the option to have pages with dates listed on them. Even a time stamp option would be great.

add a setting to disable device-/android-buttons and ambient light sensor
Depending on the orientation of the device I keep pushing the hardware buttons, or blocking the ambientlight sensor, resulting in droping out of the app or getting the back light dimmed.
I would like to have the option to disable them all together when editing a note.

Make a paid "Pro" version of the app instead of using multiple in-app purchase for premium features.
I have no problem paying for good applications but dislike the method of using in-app purchases, as they do not stay with the application if you move to a new device, have multiple devices, or even change then ROM. If you want to see money from your development efforts, make a separate paid "Pro" version in the Google Play Market, but don't nickel and dime users with multiple in-app purchases.
700 votesThank you all for your wonderful feedback! I just wanted to set a few things straight.
First, in-app purchases are tied to your Google or Samsung account, depending on which store you downloaded Papyrus from. Purchases are automatically restored or enabled by Google Play or Samsung Apps on all devices you are signed into with that account. This means, if you get a new device, have multiple devices, or need to reinstall Papyrus, you only need to purchase the premium features once (as long as you use the same account). This is true for all applications in these stores (not just Papyrus) as it is handled by Google and Samsung. Please note, however, that it can sometimes take a little while for purchases to show up on other devices or after just installing Papyrus (usually it’s instant though).
Second, we’re always trying to figure out the best business model for…

Page limit marker lines would allow to see how an infinite note would be printed
I can draw the note in the unlimited size "paper" field.
If I want to see that note, I can zoom it in and out as I see fit.But when I will print it, my note might be too large (and printed on separate pages) or too small for the printer page.
Many editors might show you the projected printer page limits on your screen to allow you to arrange your text/items with future printing in view.
It would be nice if Papyrus would also let user know how exactly his note will be cut into printed pages.

Option to delete background for pdf export
I like to use a background with square pattern, to easily keep my notes and drawings alligned, much like on regular paper.
However, I would like that when my pdf's are auto-synced to dropbox, there would be an option to:
- keep the chosen background of the note
- always use blank background
I lose a lot of ink, and it just isn't looking good, to print a pdf with all these lines.
Sure, I can set blank background (per page in a note), export it to pdf, and then re-set it, but it should be easier.

Deactivate touch-commands
Make touch-commands inactive when using a s pen on samsung note. While writing its possible to touch the back-button for example. Sometimes it happens, I close the app while writing.

Two finger background rotation
Allow users to rotate the background graph paper, lines , etc... using two fingers or a compass to select the angle of the background; then a "snap back" button to re correct for output. This would allow users to write at an angle, holding the device in one hand and the stylus in the other without having the awkward angle to maintain level text.

Ability to set destination when opening a PDF with Squid
Currently, if you open a PDF using the file manager and have android open it with Papyrus, the new note saves in whatever folder was last open in papyrus.
Ideally, papyrus should ask you what notebook to save the new note in5 votes -
The infinite paper should be truly infinite to all sides.
Currently there is a boundary at the top and to the left of infinite paper. This makes it hard to use it for mindmaps as the user cannot grow the mindmap in all directions equally. Just get rid of that unnecessary limitation.
