Select Paper Color
I cannot choose the color of notes - only white paper.
Sometimes it makes my eyes sore - you know the eye pain from the brightness of the electronics.
If I can change even the color of the notes like from white to black, then It would be definitely great for those who spend so much time with ur papyrus.
You can now choose any color for the blank background type!

Weird, this suggestion was even made by Papyrus themselves?
I posted a suggestion that's similar to this but a step further so that there would be custom templates that can be made by Papyrus and the community and used by the whole community. You could download the ones you want and use them ask the note background.

Yes! why isn't there any movement in this area? It seems many people would appreciate this, Create a Pro version and charge for it. Just don't get greedy like Fiinote.

I agree. I agree. I agree, White is very hard on the eyes. Please please provide the ability to change the page color, not only for the eyes but also for fun,

I would like to be able to set any background color, but only for display in the app, not in exported files.

I agree on background color or theme also filter to smooth out writing like the "write"app has

Set a particular image/document as background, dark theme background or form needed to fill out repeatedly for work

I agree. Changing the background is much needed. For math formulas I prefer a black background with multi-color high contrast ink.

Can we get image backgrounds too, like stationary? I know it's silly and not important from a usage perspective, but it would make the application feel a touch more polished, stylish and sexy.

certainly would be nice to stare at a non blinding screen. always the first thing i hate about computers and reading all these ebooks, its annoying on the eyes to stare at a white screen. it also would extend battery life by not needing every rgb pixel on at full output......what a waste. allow black bacground and take away my blinding headache.

Grey background only increases the battery life on OLED displays. Thereis no pint in that. However, yellow paper might be more appealing to some and black background with white lines mitght be preferable for peoples with eye issues.

Checkered paper would be needed. It helps when writing math or drawing lines in the vertical direction.

What if you made it so that users could change the color of the background you already have, like making it so we were able to change the color of the lines/background of the college ruled pages?

I keep wishing that I could use a parchment background and then remove the lines after I finish the note.

Yes. Colored patterned paper would save battery life and keep my eyes from straining to much.
