Better picture taking
so the cam automaticly sees the corners of the paper and you can edit them. also to have filter to edit the picture to blach/white or else. i think one note (microsoft) has a quite good one.

Add primary school writing paper background
It would be helpful if we had the ability to pick one or two types of primary school style paper backgrounds. The kind with the solid upper and lower lines and a dashed center line. One larger than the other, so it would be suitable for kids to use for homework.

Proposal: you can maybe look into creating more notebook styles (gratitude journal, prayer journal, mental health journals) and/or project planning options, such as workflow sheet, project summary sheet, project scope sheet, etc.

Handwriting and Pen Customization
1) Add an option to smooth out handwriting strokes
2) Add ink customization, such as colored outlines to strokes and/or pen tip options. As someone with ADHD, I have to find creative ways to keep myself engaged. And if my handwriting is sloppy from pressure when I look at it, I will avoid looking at it.4 votes -

Lineal und Zirkel
1) Das Lineal sollte eine Maßeinteilung in cm haben und in wenigstens 1°-Schritten (15° oder 45° zusätzlich wären schön) drehbar und fixierbar sein, sodass genaue frei zeichenbare Linien möglich sind.
2) Es sollte möglich sein, einen Kreisausschnitt mit verstellbaren Radien und Winkeln zu zeichnen (auch hier Maßeinteilung in ° und cm wichtig)
Es ist verwunderlich, dass keine einzige Notizen-App in Android das bietet. Alles Einheitsbrei wobei Squid sehr ordentlich daher kommt4 votes -
implement fullscreen for ChromeOS tablet mode
Currently squid differs from some other (less capable) digital paper tools because, on ChromeOS it does not default to full screen. Bamboo Paper is an example where fullscreen works as expected.
This is a problem for ChromeOS tablets because:
1. The "fullscreen" button on a ChromeOS keyboard cannot be used on a tablet with the keyboard disconnected.
2. There is no gesture in ChromeOS to force Squid to full screen from within tablet mode
3. Pen becomes unusable because palm rejection in the system button bar at the bottom of a ChromsOS tablet cannot be implemented with an app (since…4 votes -

New pens: calighraph, ballpoint, etc...
We write using electronic stuff, our handwriting wouldn't look good as on usual stuff, so adding new pens with the possibility of improved/ better looking handwriting would be so funny and useful.

Fix pasting image from ChromeOS screen capture
Google recently updated the way screenshots/"Screen captures" work on ChromeOS, and ever since then I've been unable to paste screenshots directly into a Squid note as I had been able to do before - Squid claims there is "Nothing to paste" despite the fact that the screenshot is copied to the clipboard. I now have to follow the longer route of inserting the image from the location where ChromeOS stores it, but this is very annoying if I have to paste several screenshots into a note quickly (which is something I often have to do).

Add borders on both sides of music manuscript templates
As it stands, music manuscript backgrounds are unusable as a replacement for paper because no score has its lines running to the edge of the page. Having a border on the right side as well as the left would solve this problem.

Accidental palm touch protection
I write with my s-pen and I keep accidently bumping my palm on the screen
causing myself to accidently write a random line I have to erase. So, having the option to prevent that would be nice to have as

Format text in text boxes.
I would like to see the ability to format text box text. Bullet lists, paragraph idents, etc. For those of us who dont just write in squid but would like to use a keyboard to type.

Selection eraser to erase hightlight only leaving pen writings untouched.
I would like the option of using the true erasing tool to erase highligher only. The ability to erase just the highlighter marks without erasing the pen writing it's on top of.
