Name Numerology & Birthday Compatibility Analysis
Hello Squid / Papyrus Team,
I’d like to suggest adding a Name Numerology and Birthday Compatibility feature to the platform.
Many users are interested in understanding how names and birth dates influence personality traits, relationships, and compatibility. A numerology-based compatibility tool could enhance user engagement, especially for astrology, spiritual, and self-discovery use cases.
Suggested Features
Name Numerology Calculator
Calculate core numerology numbers from a person’s name (e.g., Destiny / Expression Number)
Support common systems like Chaldean and Pythagorean Numerology
Display clear explanations in simple language
Birthday Compatibility Checker
Match two people based on date of birth numerology
Provide compatibility insights…

Introduce recommended educational resources and practice tools
Many users rely on Squid for notes and learning support. Adding a curated section that highlights high-quality external learning resources (such as topic explanations, practice quizzes, and beginner-friendly guides) would greatly improve the learning experience.
This would help students quickly revise concepts and test their understanding without leaving the learning flow.
Such an addition would increase user engagement and make Squid more useful for students and self-learners.

Why Reconditioned BMW Engines Are Worth a Look?
If you’re trying to keep a BMW running without getting hit with dealership prices, reconditioned BMW engines are honestly a smart option. They’re fully stripped, cleaned, rebuilt with new or refurbished parts, and tested to meet factory standards. You basically get near-new performance without the premium cost.
Anyone here had experience with reconditioned engines on their BMW? Would love to hear how they’ve held up long-term.

Make notes and PDFs searchable
I would literally pay double what you are charging for searchable notes and PDFs. If your app has this feature, it would be perfect.

Being able to add tags inside notes and labels
Being able to create tags, labels and bookmarks to pages would allow you to study directly from a book using squid, also it's very effective when use your own handwritten notes.
Another feature could be having the possibility to add hypertext references similar to how office works.

Páginas em modo de rolagem contínuo
Gostaria que houvesse a possibilidade de desativar a mudança de páginas através das setas, deixando que elas rolem uma abaixo da outra. As vezes para resolver exercícios em PDF isso acaba ficando complicado

OCR
Need a robust OCR engine that can handle cursive and the ability to search through cursive text. This capability exists in other applications.
I enjoy the ability to markup PDFs, BTW -- great feature!

Sync Squid settings & preferences
I often factory reset my devices and the biggest hassle with getting Squid set up again is that I have to go through each setting menu each time and think about my preferences to get Squid how I like it. These settings such as note defaults or input methods would be really handy if they could be synched either through a Google sync method like how many apps save your preference when you setup a new device or even through the in-app backup and restore process since, at least for me, the first thing I do is restore my notes…
