Scroll, Tools, Rotation, Backgrounds, Stickers and other features
These are some of the things that I would like to request:
- The ability to scroll through notes, at least for the fixed sized ones
- The ability to erase part of a highlight and not the whole stroke
- A quicker way to choose how thick the stroke is (it takes way to long to hit the exact number)
- The ability to rotate selected objects
- The ability to type texts
- More paper backgrounds for calendars and planners with different color options too
- A protractor tool, to be able to easily make arches

Being able to add tags inside notes and labels
Being able to create tags, labels and bookmarks to pages would allow you to study directly from a book using squid, also it's very effective when use your own handwritten notes.
Another feature could be having the possibility to add hypertext references similar to how office works.

Android Leiste (am unteren Bildrand) vollständig automatisch ausblenden
Ich empfehle die Android Leiste am unteren Bildschirmrand optional komplett zu deaktivieren bzw. auszublenden. Den Zurück Button kann man ja bereits deaktivieren.
Das Problem ist, das ich beim Notizen erstellen häufiger versehentlich mit dem Handballen auf die Homebutton Funktion komme und sich die Squid App dann schließt bzw. diese im Hintergrund verschwindet und das erneute Öffnen der Squid App dann unnötige Zeit kostet.
Ich wäre sehr dankbar für die Behebung des Problems.

Sync Squid settings & preferences
I often factory reset my devices and the biggest hassle with getting Squid set up again is that I have to go through each setting menu each time and think about my preferences to get Squid how I like it. These settings such as note defaults or input methods would be really handy if they could be synched either through a Google sync method like how many apps save your preference when you setup a new device or even through the in-app backup and restore process since, at least for me, the first thing I do is restore my notes…

Bug: Long loading time
Project pages filled with many drawings take a long time to load. Instead of loading everything at once, would it be faster to load the viewport first, allow the user to enter the page, then load the rest later in patches from closest to viewport to farthest away?
The page opens up quickly after it has been loaded once before. But if you close the project the page takes long to open again.
