Improve PDF software for Japanese/Chinese characters being imported/exported
Since importing or exporting Japanese PDF with text information is garbled and unusable, please change the software related to the PDF function to one compatible with Japanese.

Rotate feature
Please add rotation option for the selected items. I mean after snipping the data we need we cannot rotate it in the required direction. This is making a huge difference between squid and other writing tools. I think this is something which comes under basic category. Suppose that we have drawn something for two to three hours and suddenly felt that the direction is wrong we cannot delete everything and draw again instead if we have this feature we can simply rotate it in the required direction.

Merge Backups
I have a back up set of notes and then had to factory reset my device. I immediately started taking important notes without restoring my previous backup. Now I want to merge my two backups so I can continue editing all of my notes without having to jump between backups.

Add: BACKUP and RESTORE buttons to TOOLBAR
The buttons would be linked to the cloud/local back up that the user has selected in settings. This would STREAMLINE the process of navigating through the settings and would help those of us that use the app daily.
The buttons could be as simple as an up and down arrow.
It seems that device syncing is rather difficult, so I offer this solution as a substitute.

Enter numbers for pen thickness
Allow the user to enter the thickness of the pen by tapping the number (e.g. 3,4 mm) and entering a number by keyboard (or other input method) as well as the sliders.

Pivot function with snap to perfect vertical or horizontal
Please enable a function that enables you to pivot items selected on a grid. To make it less complicated with sizing it can be enabled whence selected items are at least a certain size for the pivot dot to appear. Then users can reduce sizing after pivoting.

Have more automatic backup and export time intervals
Have more shorter options for backup and export options. I could lose a lot of work in 6 hours, so shorter backup times would be great or even a variable option to select my backup and export interval.

Copy from other source and paste directly from clipboard
Hello I am currently using Samsung galaxy note 8 and using this app for heavt note taking etc.
It is a great app but missing a feature that I want to be added.
Whenever I take notes it seems like I cannot directly copy and save in android clipboard and paste into the app.
Copy and paste happens either only within the Squid app
Or I have to save the images into my system directory. (Not temporary save on clipboard) so I can insert it from image import.I wish I could directly copy from other sources outside of the…

Be able to rotate/orientate any page background preset (example: the sports fields)
If I were able to rotate any of the page presets, for example, the full field sports presets are currently only horizontal, and I have to hold my tablet in a weird way to be able to work on them vertically. This also goes for the half-field versions which are permanently vertical. It would be nice to edit and view them in different orientations without having to do some trickery with the motion sensor on your device to be able to do so.

More features for the drawing tool and rotation for selected items
I'd love to see more features for the line drawing tool like the ability to draw dotted lines and more geometric shapes like triangles and stuff like that. Maybe even a plotting tool for functions. Also the ability to rotate selected items.

Hide/lock nav bar
Feature to hide nav bar like other apps do and only show when swiped up on. When its locked on screen it is really easy to accidentally hit the home. Or even an option to not trigger home button while in a note, similar to the back button lock setting.
