Cast to a Hangout.
At the moment you can only cast to a chromecast device, but chrome browser allows you to cast directly to hangout meeting... would be great if squid also supported this method of casting.

Allow direct typing entry of RGB color code numbers.
I find the color sliders very time-consuming and fussy to use to enter a specific RGB color code. It would be so much easier to type numbers in R, G, B fields where the RGB number labels are already. You can still adjust the sliders and the number fields would update in real time.
I have a slight hand tremor that gets worse when I tire, so even with my beloved S Pen, it can be very frustrating to enter the RGB color I want.
Sorry if this is a duplicate. When I searched other suggestions I didn't see any…

Ability to Create Templates for Individual notes/forms and Notebooks!
Allow building of templates both for individual notes - but also extend idea to a notebooks as well. Say I have 10 different formats or base forms I complete with repetition. If I could build a template for the repetitive work - and simply spring it to life - that would be very useful. Going a step further you could extend this concept to notebooks as well. Thank you! Scale/measure on imported pdf's.
It would be really nice to measure distances on a scaled imported PDF. I use the PDF import feature to bring in scaled drawings all the time, but I can't measure distances and provide immediate feedback to those types of questions for my work.

Allow editing of files in place, without making copies
I want to open a PDF in Google Drive, annotate it, and then save that file back to Google Drive without creating a new file, and having one file annotated with notes and the other plain. iAnnotate on the iPad does this and it was an integral part of my workflow as a teacher, and I'm really missing this on a Chromebook.

Interoperability with other pdf markup software
I go back and forth between mobile devices and Windows desktop (so I use Squid and Bluebeam Revu markup software). It would be really nice if the pdf's created from each would recognize the elements created in each. Not asking for Squid to have the same tool set as Bluebeam - just would like to be able to have the entities created in each selectable for basic functionality (move/ delete/ change color/ etc.). Also would be nice to have the bookmarks, flags, hyperlinks, etc. in a pdf available in Squid.

Make folder navigation directly from device storage
Instead of having only squid files or imported pdfs available in the file menu, base the apps documents out of the local device storage. Transitioning to squid is difficult if you used a different note taking app before it. Xodo is a good example
