We don’t disagree that there is a market for a cross-platform handwritten note taking app! We would love for Squid to be available on all platforms. We’re a small team and we don’t currently have the resources to expand to Windows (or iOS). We hope this will change someday!

Thank you.

This is something we're investigating while designing the Squid10 note editor.

This is one of our top priorities for the Squid10 note editor.

pen - marker - eraser - color picker - other tools
The insert image icon can be moved into the 'other' category. As it stands now very common actions involve too many clicks. It's too much of a phone interface.

I wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!
An error occurred while saving the comment Raúl F commentedSorry, is the Windows version only available in the US or something? I live in Spain, and Squid doesn't show up in my Microsoft app store. I was kinda baffled that buying the premium subscription only applies to the Android app, but if the Windows one has been cancelled, well, then it's no big deal.

Hello. Yeah, a "screen resolution, forget about real paper" option would be nice.
In the meantime, for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 tablet (is that the one you have?), you should try the "US 4x6" paper, instead of A4.
