I need this to use the app

I can't believe this isn't already part of this app. I was considering switching from Xodo but not if clickable links are in the app.

Seven years on and this feature not implemented and (worse still) no comments from Squid devs as to whether they even read these comments. Hello .... hello ...??

This isn't already a feature? I kept clicking the link to the page I needed and couldn't figure out why it doesn't work. Guess it's not a feature currently. Please make it possible!

Please add this feature. There are so many possible uses and would really boost the value of the app.

Yeah, I just bought the full version of the app but now realizing that I can't utilize links in pdfs, it makes this app mostly useless for me so am cancelling. 🤷🏼‍♀️

7 years on and still no news... I and many others cannot use Squid, and cannot recommend it to others unless this box can be ticked (or clicked on).
So many plusses are outweighed by this one negative.

The premium version of this program is useless without it.

This needs to be a thing! I'm a teacher with students learning remotely -- links are KEY. I can't believe I currently can't insert a link into a PDF that I'm putting together for my students!

Why is this not a thing? Squid is a much better product/ more user friendly than Xudo or Metomoji but not being able to use PDF files with embedded links built in makes this app a non-starter for me. Send out a survey asking users what services they wish to see, you will find much more support than what it seems to have on this forum.

This still isn't a thing, it seems. And, it's a deal breaker on being able to use the app. Love Squid. Would prefer it over the apps I wind up using, but my use case requires larger, multi-page PDFs with link navigation.

This feature is pretty standard in annotation apps by this point. It's curious to me that Squid has not added it.

Many of the custom Journal and Planner templates (search Etsy) are built and exported with embedded links so they are more interactive when imported to applications like Good notes. If SquidNotes we're to support this, it would open up the audience to folks in the Goodnotes crowd in addition to giving Android users an option similar to Goodnotes without having to rely on Xodo for this functionality.

Would agree that using links within PDF documents would be super handy. If this happened (as it does in Goodnotes on IOS) flocks of android users would be ecstatic

Agree, it is strange to not be able to click on links and jump pages. An intermediate fix could be use the right click function on a mouse, for those using this on a Chromebook. Or a long press with the pen...

I utilize a number of event programs that utilize the interactive abilities of pdf. While I am really beginning to enjoy Squids note-taking feature when compared to other apps, the inability to utilize the interactive features makes some things more difficult. Some of the event programs I get can have up to 75 pages of interactive contents, and it is quite troublesome to flip through 75 pages of material to get to a proper page when the program has a link to it.

There always are some links in the contents of a PDF file. But if you import PDF, this links can't work. Even you export PDF this links can't work too.

In most PDF files there are links to navigate the file (like in a table of contents) but in Papyrus nobody can actually successfully navigate using any existing links. It is so basic and what many people expect and are going to be disappointed when they realise that they cannot do this :(
Please fix this basic fault :) Your program is so good but could be so great!
