Just in case it hasn't been said: maybe a very simple implementation of this is to add two things to the app:
1. An option to increase the backup rate of the built in "paid" sync option, or a "backup now" button.
2. The ability for the app to look at a backup on Dropbox (or other) and determine if that file is newer; if so, to update the locally stored file to the latest version.

The only downside is that it's not a fully automated system, and doesn't happen in "realtime"; it would require the user to at least perform a single input when switching between devices, and you would only be able to use one device at a time; BUT it's a simple solution for now that makes use of the functionality already built into the app.

Please continue to place this as HIGH PRIORITY. It is disappointing that Squid notes can't be used /appear on other devises! This is where the app fails and lacks! It's a real ashame

How is this "high priority" and still hasn't been implemented 8 years after this was posted, especially if you were working on it "ever since the app's inception"?

I enjoyed squid, but need it to be synced across my two android devices.. this post seems to be high on priority but that is over 2 years ago! If it is not likely to happen in the next couple of months please tell me so I can find an app that works for my business.. thanks

Hi, recently I downloaded squid, love it on my galaxy tab, but seems not to sync with my galaxy phone? It needs to be useful... does it? Am I missing something?

It's been over 7 years since this idea was floated, and 2 years since this topic was supposedly put on "high priority". Please implement it soon, it's one of the few shortcomings holding me, and probably other users, back from getting a subscription.

Any development on Squid besides the now yearly fee of 10€?
I have subscribed for another year. I hope others will also to have the funds for development.

Any timeline on this? I'm holding back on the purchase for premium because of this missing feature.

Can you talk with google themselves and find out how they do it with their programs? They have Keep, which is a note taking program that allows; text, doodles, colors, pictures, etc. And that's just a mini note app that can cross sync between all my devices. Also, google Drive itself can do most of that, except annotate on PDFs I beleive. Then they have JamBoard as well that allows doodles, communications, and live activity from multiple people at once as well as different devices. Thanks for the help. Would make life easier for the users if this could be a reality. Great product so far though guys! Keep up the great work!

Make it so that when you sign into an account for squid you can have notes passed over on multiple devices.

Let's get Incremental backups as a nice stopgap to true syncing. That would solve a lot of problems here I think...

I love this app, but disappointed that I can't work on my noter on different apps.

Recently signed up to premium and I'm disappointed with the lack of proper multi-device sync.
Back to Samsung-Notes between my Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab.
