Evernote only provides OCR for paid subscriptions.

I have tried OCR for handwriting recognition in both Evernote and Adobe however, I could not search or transkate my notes to text. Could you provide a little more detail on how you accomplished this in Evernote.

You can jerry-rig something for this in the mean time by importing your note PDFs into Evernote. They'll do OCR on them for you.

Or just the ability to be able to search handwritten notes would be sufficient for the time being.

This feature was on the original smemo and removed on update but it was awesome and very convenient! I think it was removed for accuracy issues but that could be fixed by allowing the user to edit the final result
