Zoom window for writing
Like in "good notes" for iPad, you could insert a zoom window witch allows you to write easier and faster. The good notes website describes it as followed:
GoodNotes provides the zoom window to assist you to write in small size with your fingers or with capacitive styluses. Inside the zoom window contains a zoomed view corresponding to a rectangular area on a page.
This is something we're investigating while designing the Squid10 note editor.

I also want this feature implemented. It would be really nice to have that box there... Love the app..

Some use this app on the GN2, where zooming in and out and sliding back and forth while trying to write at normal speed is very tedious. A feature like this, or an auto advance when reaching the edge of the screen, would end all the frustration of non-10.1 users.

I second Danny's comment. The hand writing auto-shrinking from FreeNote is a nice feature. I will say you can do this manually in Papyrus by zooming in, writing, then zooming out again but it's not as nice to do that. The auto zooming is something I would definitely like for text. And yes, there needs to be an option to switch it off for text input and for drawing and such individually because where I'd like to have it for text, it's not necessary for images.

Many apps with feature take LOTS OF TWEAKING to match the speed and writing style of the user... tis feature can be VERY ANNOYING at times

An option would be nice - something akin to how notability (and others) do it in the iOS realm. I agree active stylus devices don't need it, but many others would benefit.

This idea will be terrible for my galaxy note 10.1...

This would be nice... as long as it was an option. One of the reasons I love having a device with an active pen is that you really don't need to zoom feature. With a capacitive stylus it is handy, but certainly wouldn't want this to be a forced thing.

The FreeNote app for android has a solution like this. There is an area of the screen which shrinks your large handwriting onto the blank lines of the paper.
Unfortunately, that app just doesn't match this one in terms of usability and look and feel. The user experience for me just doesn't allow for fast writing.
I'm using an Applydea Maglus stylus (a top of the range passive stylus) on the Nexus 7 and my handwriting is terrible unless I write very big, but then I don't fit much on the page. My handwriting is quite readable if I write it whilst zoomed in, but then I have to keep panning and it's difficult to read whilst writing because so little fits in the viewport.
I'd love to be able to write large text and it be shrunk down onto the page.
I love the look and feel of papyrus and would gladly pay for a well implemented feature like this. I hope others would too.

Sounds fine as long as it is not forced because a zoom window is not necessary with a larger tablet.

Also like Note Taker HD. http://www.notetakerhd.com/images/screen02.png.

I am going to vote for this even though I don't really like how Notes Plus for the iPad does it (you have to use a scroll bar to change the zoom level for the box). With Note Taker HD, you can pinch to zoom in the area zoom box and it adjusts the zoom level. Anyhow, I definitely think that this is one feature I cannot live without. Here's an image of the zoom area if someone doesn't know what this is: http://www.notetakerhd.com/images/screen02.png
