An error occurred while saving the comment I recently had to migrate a large Outlook PST file and realized that doing it manually can be quite time-consuming, especially when you need to preserve emails, contacts, calendars, attachments, and folder hierarchy.

We have around 40 employee mailboxes containing years of emails, contacts, calendars, and attachments. Our biggest concern is making sure nothing gets lost during the migration because many of these emails are related to clients and ongoing projects.
I know Google provides migration options, but I've read that many users run into issues like authentication failures, incomplete mailbox transfers, missing folders, or interrupted migrations when dealing with larger mailboxes. We also want to preserve the original folder hierarchy, email metadata, read/unread status, and attachments. Since employees will continue working during the migration, keeping downtime to a minimum is another important requirement.

We're currently preparing one of our largest email modernization projects, moving several business units from legacy Outlook environments into Microsoft 365. During the planning stage, we identified hundreds of PST files containing years of emails, calendars, contacts, and attachments that need to remain fully accessible after migration.
Although Microsoft's Azure upload process is available, coordinating permissions, CSV mapping files, validation reports, and multiple administrators becomes difficult as the number of mailboxes increases. We wanted a workflow that would simplify preparation while reducing the possibility of migration failures.
During our evaluation process, we tested the DRS Softech PST File Converter to understand whether it could simplify enterprise migrations. Features like mailbox preview, selective folder conversion, duplicate email removal, batch processing, and preservation of metadata seemed particularly valuable for organizations handling large Outlook archives. Being able to inspect mailbox contents before processing also gave our migration team additional confidence.
