It is honestly disheartening to see that this feature request has been open for 8 years now. I've been trying to move towards a completely private, cloud-free setup, but the lack of an automated local backup makes it incredibly difficult. It feels like the community's feedback is stuck in a void. At this point, it's hard to remain hopeful that this will ever be implemented.
