Sync between devices
I would like to have my notes automatically appear on my other devices with Squid installed. e.g. Create a note on device A and it appears on device B. If possible allow editing too from that device.
I wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!

Simple to do. Purchase the TRELLO app. Send your finished product to trello and open trello in all your devices!

This functionality is the one thing that keeps me using Evernote, which can sync between multiple devices and all platforms. It seriously can't be that hard to do...

Interesting that this has apparently been a highly requested feature for over five years now and still not added. The ability to sync between devices is the one thing that keeps me tied to Evernote. If Squid offered this I could almost completely dump Evernote as a note-taking platform. I have abandoned a couple other note-taking apps for this same exact reason. Not sure how much longer I will pay for a premium version before I export all my notes to PDFs and move them back to Evernote, unless this can get solved.

Dude. Got to have them sync. Makes this app almost unusable if I can't switch between devices and edit. May start on my phone but when I get home want to switch to pixelbook. Please figure this out. I'd even pay for this upgrade

It would be highly productive to have notes sync across multiple devices signed into the same account.

May be it is hard but is the most important. I can no edit my notes because my previous device is dead and I have only pdfs backup . So I stoped taking notes with the app.

Thumbs up for this feature! It's the only thing missing to make it 100% best note app hands down.

I can sync my notes by upload to cloud then down load on other device but it takes lot of time but if this can be done for each note Separately it will be very usefull

That is a old problem for this app. An they insists to not find a solution. The cloud backup is a shame. Why u don't use the Dropbox for a realtime sync? Maybe not using the collaborative function. That function is for 3 years ago. My first smartphone has a backup technology like u have today. One big file containing everything.

I think having the ability to sync your notes across all devices will really set Squid apart from from every other app out there, and make life sooo much easier for people who would forget their heads if it weren't attached... like me. Being a busy mom to 3 and constantly, and I mean constantly having to multitask, I have to write everything down or I'll forget at least 35 of the 1000 things I'm supposed to do each day. I used to just stick post-it notes to everything (mirrors, doors, kids, sippy cups, you name it), but Squid actually helps me out A LOT (I really love the weekly and monthly paper layout for doctor and vet visits), BUT because I'm in such a rush all the time, it isn't very convenient to have to run back to my Chromebook every time I need to check my list of things to do. I would LOVE to be able to check my phone while I'm out to make sure I didn't miss anything, or to see what's next on my list, and I'd like to not have to waste any extra precious seconds having to send those files to myself every time I remember to add something to my list. 🙏 Oh I hope you guys figure out the sync feature soon 🤞

I'm not using Squid specifically because it cannot sync. Otherwise I would.

Hi, synchronising is a MUST nowday. Please invest in this direction, as in many case this is a reason to use or NOT to use SQUID.
Thanx

Please add me to the list of people who wish to have the sync feature. I don't need it to be a collaborative sync. Just have it update the copies on my other devices.
