Sync between devices
I would like to have my notes automatically appear on my other devices with Squid installed. e.g. Create a note on device A and it appears on device B. If possible allow editing too from that device.
I wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!

+one on this suggestion, sync is much better then backing up when using multiple devices.

This feature is essential to our company that has relied on Squid for the last 3 years. We will now begin the process of finding a replacement solution/app since this still is "In Progress". You can consider our organization of 1,500 users a previous customer when our license is up.

Just being able to use one of the cloud drives, i.e. Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. would be enough for me. That way I could get to the same data from any of my devices. Just a thought...

Yup. Syncing paramount. No two way around this. This one feature would cause this app to move to the front of the line with its peers. And past others. But, let's not make this feature of the monthly subscription. As many of us I have already paid for individual purchases. And this should be just another individual purchase. But yes it could be also included in the monthly subscription for those who do not make individual purchases or had not previously. Also please don't put this on your own server. Make this open to any backup app that each one of us decides where we want our information backed up. I have my own cloud server at home that I backup data manually currently. But automation would be great.

I need to have existing notes as reference and it would be helpful to not just scroll or get in and out of the notes I want to write

There is the best case, which you are "Investigating" for 6 years now and then there is the reality, in which you can just upload whole changed notebooks after closing, which would, for normal notebooks mean a few MB max (so like a second on a stable connection).
The reality of this situation is that I have two tablets that I cannot sync without going to submenu, generating full backups and fully restoring these backups on the other device...
What really bothers me is that other applications can at least point to a custom folder with the notebooks and I can sync that folder myself... So yeah, if you are unable to implement it on your own (which you clearly are, let's not kid ourselves here, 6 years is a pretty long time for such a core functionality), then at least focus on "Do one thing and do it right" principle and just give me the ability to sync it myself.

Similar to Adobe scan, any changes is instantly saved in the cloud as well. And accessing the app with a different device, changes will be updated instantly.

Just want to remind u, that adding sync with Google Drive/OneDrive and vertical scrolling(with finger) will make your app the Best for Android Devices

Would be nice to be able to sync notes between devices e.g. tablet to phone and vice versa at least so users are able to view them in any location in which the app is available
