Sync between devices
I would like to have my notes automatically appear on my other devices with Squid installed. e.g. Create a note on device A and it appears on device B. If possible allow editing too from that device.
I wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!

If you incorprated the ability to save to the cloud this would solve the syncing issues.

Hi there, I'm assuming this feature still isn't possible yet? Got a note 8 and a galaxy tab 3 and itching to have everything married up

Bummed to learn that this won't sync yet. I've just been using this a couple days, but am really enjoying the features. What other app.s are you all using that provide similar features and do currently sync? Thanks for whatever suggestions you might offer!

Also make it sync between Android and Windows. Then I guess I would agree to pay monthly :)

As a long time paying member who has recently switched from android to windows, the lack of sync of my hundreds of notes on Squid to my new windows version is very disappointing. If no solution or at least an update from the team is proposed, I'll probably be another user exporting all my notes and jumping to a more sustainable, well updated alternative such as Evernote.

Hi. Lile many others on this forum I would love to have a synchronisation feature across devices. I Understand that it i very complicated to do. At the very minimum I would accept saving the notebook into a cloud storage area and then treating it like a word processor file that I can access from one device at anytime and I have to ensure I save my changes before I close the document. When I open the saved notebook on my second device, I can start to edit if I saved my work previously or it can warn me that changes were made on another device and not saved. Real time sync is not required really to get multi device access to my notebooks. Thanks.

If the app stores and auto saves notes on a cloud service and pulls them from there from different devices we will have "syncing". Apps like Diario and One note do it that way.

That's the key. S-note from Samsung used to do it. It was certainly one of the best apps out there. And they bailed on it completely. But Samsung already has cloud accounts in place, and allowed sharing via evernote as well. This segment of the market could be dominated by Squid if you can figure it out.

i have just bought squid feature backup/restore. I would have thought this meant also syncing just like my samsung S-notes provides auto syncing for multiple devices. Syncing should come as default nowadays for multiple devices.
Kind of dissapointed. Please work on this "standard" features if you would like to make your app at par with others -

Hi. There are is a way to transfer notes between android and windows (and viceversa)? [I'm not asking for sync, thing that actually seems to be still a problem]
