Scan/Add pages as a PDF
Feature Description:
1. Take a photos of a couple printouts or diagrams.
2. Extract corners and transform image to the correct orientation and alignment.
3. Sharpen, color balance and enhance contrast.
4. Open as PDF for mark up in Papyrus.Use Case:
You walk into a meeting. There are never enough copies of a technical diagram, or the technical diagram is on a screen; or the diagram is drawn on a whiteboard.
You snap a couple of good photos using this app, of: meeting agenda, print outs, etc.
The images are processed and grouped into the same PDF, and opened in Papyrus for making notes.
At the conclusion of the meeting, you snap a photo of the whiteboard, append it to the PDF, and email to yourself add meeting notes. The handy scanner app does image->PDF pretty well. But I would like to avoid using two apps for what should be accomplished with one.

Add "wrist check" or palm guard
I often write with a stylus, but I rest my hand on the screen. Can you add a wrist check/palm guard feature please?

Active pen emulation by pressure threshold?
Capacitive styluses tend to generate much higher pressure readings than fingers. Can we get an option to emulate active pens by this?
If this does happen please also add a customized pressure sensitivity curve option, as the hardware response can differ greatly from device to device.

Feature Ideas for the App
A great feature for the app would be to have some kind of bar at the bottom of the screen where you can place your palm so that it doesn't affect the screen while you try to write. Even though once you touch with the stylus your hand isn't supposed to affect the screen it still does. Also would be nice to have a zoom feature to allow writing on PDF files to be easier.
Typing could be modified as well. I'm not a huge fan of the typing in a small box. This app would be great if you could have the feature of typing documents (as well as import documents from microsoft), and have all the personalization features of typing.
The interface could use some updating. Maybe color coordinating notebooks tabs or making actual notebook icons could aid in visual organization. I'm a student and color coordinating helps me with organizing the topics I'm learning.
My last idea is more shapes. The shape feature is useful if your trying to work around large pictures and are trying to make the document look more organized, but I think being able to add other shapes for the unartistically inclined would be a helpful feature.

View whole page while scrolling
As opposed to seeing a checkerboard until the scrolling stops. I imagine it's a processing issue to load that much at once, but even seeing a blurry image of my work will speed up navigation around the document.

Create a cursor to move in the page
Just like in the games, a cursor to move in the page is very useful, because we don't need touch two fingers to scroll the screen while reading a PDF document, or drawing something.

Sync between devices
I would like to have my notes automatically appear on my other devices with Squid installed. e.g. Create a note on device A and it appears on device B. If possible allow editing too from that device.
2,239 votesI wanted to provide an update on this in light of our recent major update to make backups work at the note level along with our new support for Google Drive. These were both major milestones on the way to support sync. Now that backups work at the note level, we plan to continue our work to build a sync solution that works across devices using cloud storage provides like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. The advantage to this approach is that we continue to have zero access to your note data. Everything lives on your device and your selected cloud storage provider. However, this also means the solution must be resilient to users modifying data in the cloud (intentional or not). We don't have an ETA yet, but this continues to be one of our highest priorities. We really appreciate your patience and feedback on this idea!

Google Cloud Print
Papyrus should work as a printer on Google cloud print. This requires the program poll the cloud print service for print jobs, but then any document can be "printed" from any instance of Chrome attached to my Google account to Papyrus on my tablet.

Create table of content for large imported pdf documents.
It would be really time saving if large pdf documents had a table of content like most pdf readers do. Having to scroll page by page to get to page 2000 of a 3000 page pdf document is not really fun... and imagine you had to then return to page 500... argh!

Eyedropper tool to pick up colors from the canvas/page
I would love an eyedropper tool to pick up a color that I used before on the page, because the recently used colors are limited to 12 most recent, and I usually use many more colors at a time.
Papyrus already feels so smooth to use as a drawing tool, and just the addition of an eyedropper tool would really complete it for me.
