Enhance text tool with text wrapping, direct input, and resizable text boxes
Need text input directly on page instead of the pop out input box. Also need text wrapping for smaller sheet formats for those who type as well as write notes. I would gladly pay the fee for that but not the current input
Text tool now supports in-line editing, text wrapping, and resizable text boxes!
When adding new text, the text is automatically wrapped when the cursor reaches the edge of the screen or page.
Pasting text from the clipboard also wraps the text at the edge of the screen/page, based on the current zoom level.
After resizing the width of a text box, the text always wraps at the edge of the box.

TEXT BOXES ARE A MUST, it's tedious having to type several lines separately.
Was disappointed to find that out after paying the fee. -

The text box is fixed. I would like to be able to select and resize. Another thing when you paste text into the squid, it does not automatically wrap the lines. It is a very long line, you need to enter the text box and press the burial where you want to break the line!

The ability to condense text into a small box rather than one line of text that continues off my screen.

please for the love of god change it so I can resize the WHOLE paragraph. Text size can only do so much when my entire paper is not on the page because the text box can't change.

when I copy a paragraph of text and paste it into a program where my default A4 is set, the text is not wrapped. Please edit the text

when I insert a text I would like to be able to size not only the size of the writing but the whole paragraph that I create. so that you can have for example the text only in the left column

I have been using squid premium over a year (recently renewed) and just ran into this. I would expect the paid version to have text wrapping for text boxes. Please add this asap as this is a critical feature to have.

Adding text at the moment requires a popup dialog box for the text content to be pasted into the note. It would be great to be able to select the Text tool, tap anywhere on the note (using finger OR stylus), and then start typing directly onto the note. It makes it feel much more intuitive to be writing the text onto the paper and then allow immediate switching to stylus/pen writing again after the user is completed with typing on keyboard.

Poter modificare il riquadro del testo come fosse un'immagine
Inserire del nuovo testo direttamente sulla schermata e non far aprire una nuova finestra, così si può già vedere come viene il testo rispetto alla schermata -

before, when you started typing in a text book it would not automatically start a new line which was a pain, but after the most recent update I can't even press enter to start a new line, i have to create three separate text boxes for three lines of text which is so slow to do. autocapitalisation would also be nice.

Yes, text boxes are shocking to use on this app. May I suggest that the developers of this app use Notability on the iPad and see where the competition is at. Thanks

Creating full-with page paragraphs, titles, italics and bold text, like OneNote app. When Squid would have those functions, I will buy and use Squid.

I'm using this program to create and display class notes. During class I write the notes, but would appreciate being able to have a larger choice of fonts, etc so I don't have to create the notes in PowerPoint or Slides, export as PDF, and then import into Squid.

I want to be able to type notes from a keyboard. Please give us a typing feature, not just the text box. The text box is garbage.

Text wrapping and adjustable text box for imported or copied paragraphs. How is this not already a basic function of the app?
I see from the number of comments (some dating back years) and lack of response from developers that unfortunately, this isn't a priority.
Too bad. This is a great app otherwise. Pretty important though so I'll be looking for something else.

I purchased the PDF tool of the app and trying to fill a PDF form using it on an Android device as well as Chromebook (Pixelbook).
After importing the PDF file and type a 2 paraghraphs text in a textbox, the textbox width gets longer that the PDF file width (A4 in this case) and it is not possible to adjust the textbox edge and align it to the shape needed in the PDF form.

I bought this app specifically to be able to type into a PDF with my notes as my handwriting is not readable using a stylus. Please, please, please allow for typing right into document. At the very least, allow text to wrap so that it does not stretch across the entire page.

I bought the tool pack thinking I would be able to input text right on the note. The pop up input box is not good at all. Please improve this tool.
