Please consider this idea. This suggestion has been posted 6 years ago. I would love for this idea to be realised where I can open a note from another notebook to refer to and write in another note

It would be great, if Squid could support working on two pages simultaneously.
E.g having some exercises open on one site, while doing them on the other. I also have notes, or general PDF documents, that I would like to write on in Squid, while having the ability to take notes on a different sheet.

At the moment I always have to use OneNote in a Multiwindow Setup and then export the data and then import into Squid. So such a feature would come in very handy.

In my studies I need to open a reading summary and an exercise note. Opening two notes simultaneously would help a lot!

I hope i can open a pdf side by side (adjustable window size) with the notes so that it is easy for referring and also have a snipping tool that can snip the information from the slide and paste into notes

I would like to be able to view at least two notes at a time. I save and anotate books in pdf and would like to reference them while I'm creating a new note.

I would love to be able to do this on my samsung tablet. Noteworthy can do it on ipads....

For example, if you are using a a math, science, or engineering book, you could work out problems on the right or left hand side of the page you are viewing in the book is on the opposite side you're working on.

I use squid on my chromebook, and want to have more than one note open at once, for instance, to mark-up my pdf textbook and have my class notes open at the same time. With Android natively supporting split-screen, this could be helpful for mobile users as well.

I'm using this awesome program for handwriting.
I usually take notes on 1 note, and organize later when I review them.
So, I want to see two notes at the same time so that I can copy and organize easily.

I've been finding recently that I want this quite a lot. Usually where I have several detail notes from a variety of meetings and other settings and I'm wanting to create a new note summarising things from them.

I think this is a bigger deal now that android apps are more significant on chromebooks as there's now the screen estate to make it really useful.
