Better note organization: sub-notebooks/folders
Provide a way to better organize notes, beyond the current notebook organization. This could be done with nested notebooks or folders, labels for notes, sections, chapters, etc.
📁 Folders are now available in Squid10! 📁
The Squid10 Preview is now available to everyone. Notebooks are now folders and folders can now be nested! Folders can also be moved to, and restored from, Trash.
To use folders, update to the latest version of Squid and tap "Try Squid10".
For tags/labels, we created a new idea. If you're interested in this feature, we'd love your vote and feedback.

How can this be so hard. Many people, paying people, have been asking for this simple upgrade for a long time

The app needs nested folders. I don't know how much longer I can use it without that function.

I'm still in the hopes of getting this feature soon and its one of the reason why i haven't moved to any other note taking software just because of the lack of proper organization of folders and sub-folders even though i paid premium for this software. I have so many notes that i need to organize and its all over the place. This app is amazing for note taking but its these small issues that makes you wanna look for other options. Please include this thing. I'm sure a lot of people will be happy.

There should be an option to view notes as a list, and to use custom covers for our notebooks that have thumbnails in list view

even a search function for substrings in the title will help

We need sections within a notebook... just like OneNote.. its very very very very very important for students
It can be like splitting a notebook in parts.. one for the lap.. one for the homework... and like that...

I am an organization freak and I use Squid for many different reasons and I would love to have the ability to organize my notebooks into folders

Make it so you can create either create sub-notebooks under each primary notebook or make ot so we can create folders inside of the notebook for better organization. Be good for school where a Notebook is the class, folders are units, additional folders would be sections or days or whichever.

As anotações ficam muito perdidas e soltas. A simples solução seria a possibilidade de criar pastas por categorias que o usuário escolha. Ficaria perfeito o aplicativo se tivesse essa opção.

I'm an premium user since 2014 and this feature still doesn't appear, despite being the most requested for many years.
I'm tired of waiting, so I'm going to make the jump to LectureNotes, which despite being less visually pretty, has all the features that this app has and also the organization by folders.
When you decide to include the feature, you will realize that everyone has gone to use another better application.

It would be nice, being able to create a folder in a folder. That way, we could have a better organisation. For example, i have a folder named "Physics" but in this folder I have like 3-4 different type of PDFs (Exercices, lessons, Old exams...) and I would like to make 3-4 new folders in the first one (Physics) to sort them better. Would it be possible?
Thank you and looking forward to this option if you are going to add it :) -
