Paste from system clipboard
This might also along with inserting images from the gallery and maybe even being able to use a keyboard. I would like to be able to copy something, (might be from a web page, a document, whatever) and be able to paste it in my note. I'd presume it would have to be separate from the current Papyrus only clipboard, but maybe not?
We recently added support for the system clipboard! You can now copy and paste images and text from other apps into Squid, and vice versa (if the other app supports it).
If you’re attempting to copy/paste on a Chromebook, you may find that some things work and others don’t. Google is working on adding better support for copy/paste between Chrome and Android apps, so this will improve over time!

I use the galaxy note 12.1 tablet and regularily drag clippings into papyrus, usually from a split screen pdf.

This would be a really cool feature which would allow users to seamlessly integrate with the Galaxy Note line.

One of the really handy features of the Galaxy Note line of phones and tablets is that the S-Pen can be used to select a clipping of the screen at any time which can then be dragged to many different note and messaging apps. Unfortunately, Papyrus is not yet one of the apps that screen selections can be copied to. Please update Papyrus so an S-Pen screen clipping can be added to any existing note in Papyrus similar to the way you can add a screen clipping to the "Stylus Labs Write" Android app (one of your better competitors).

You could even make it an import function if copy/paste capabilities are limited. Just include a "write over", "move" and maybe a sizing tool for the image?
Health care practitioners are dying for an app capable of this function! This is the decade where paper is all going to digital, and when it comes to healthcare its a huge race with very few, and much needed products!
I hope you take this into consideration!
Thanks for your time and good luck guys!

My issue is I got tired of carrying my note 10.1 so I accidentally bought a 8.0 tab 3 instead of an 8.0 note for carrying around. So far I havent found any app that has the S Note feature of copy and paste from clipboard...if you think its a feature you can live without...you can't. Thisis something Papyrus hasto fix

Agree with this. I would copy paste out of worksheets (to copy class problems into my notes) but have to go through the gallery every time, which is very tedious and time wasting especially when trying to take notes at the same time.
But I don't know how they would implement this, it would have to go to the app, then you'd have to choose which note you were working on, and perhaps the page you were on?

Easy clip wont work on my galaxy note 12.2 . Is there anyway to have this featured in papyrus? It would be so great.

I would love to have a paste anything from clipboard onto papyrus. Ranging from image to text.

Yes please, paste from the clipboard, ideally as text, maybe even hyperlinkable, but even as an image would be better
As far as I can see, the only way to do this is to clip as an image and then import from the gallery? Or am I missing something here?

I think that using the system clipboard is the biggest thing missing from this app. With that added it would replace all other note apps for me. Considering buying the addons.

I use the touchwiz scrapbooker, quick export to dropbox, then insert image from dropbox in papyrus and it works pretty well

With Galaxy note it is easy to copy interesting articles from web pages and other sources into Scrapbook.
Some apps allows you to insert the content into your document or note just as you insert a picture.
i would like Papyrus to have the same insert option. -

A quick workaround: with the Samsung galaxy note 10.1 whenever you snapshot something (using the button on the spen) it is saved as an image in the Gallery/Screenshots directory.
So snapshot as if you wanted to copy to clipboard, go back to papyrus, insert image and you will find your snapshot in the Screenshots directory.

Paste from clipboard (like pasting screen write into S Note) would be awesome. I hope the Samsung clipboard is accessible to your developers.

I second this motion. Images would be especially nice to have for bio or mechanical notes taking.

Dylan, thanks for the comment about pasting text in the Tool/Text mode. -

The Easy Clip feature from Galaxy Note is great for quickly clipping off part of a screen and insert into the note, which works well for SNote, email, and a number of other apps. Please apply to be added in the list just like your recent addition to the multi window list. An alternative is to add system clipboard to the Add Image list and access the clip like many suggested.
Dylan, thanks for the comment about pasting text in the Tool/Text mode.

This is a must feature for such app.I have to go back to S-Note just to use this feature. I love this app otherwise but I Use the magical lasso function of S-pen very heavily. Not making full use of that function Is Insult to note 10.1
