Home screen widget for quick view of note
A home screen widget that would let you view a note and quickly open it to edit it.

You can add a shortcut to your Home Screen to open a specific notebook (see http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1179331) or to create a new note in a specific notebook (see http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1179328).
It does not appear to be possible to create a widget that allows for taking handwritten notes directly on the Home Screen (due to the fact that you need to be able to swipe left/right to get to different pages on your Home Screen). Please vote here if you’re interested in a widget that shows a particular note on your Home Screen (and allows you to open it quickly to edit it).

Should have a widget showing contents of a specific note or a notebook, Like a to do list (like Evernote has. Also improving the notebook features. This has potential to replace Evernote or seamlessly work with it by being a complimentary app to it.

I had been begging for this for years but I've given up on them and instead I'm using whiteboard pro for that.

Widget should display the last complete note, and scroll through prior notes.

looking at the dates this is a long requested feature but nothing as yet (january 2015) so I doubt it will ever happen. shame as the app is superb

Please make a widget, I would love to put a to do list on one of my home screens to keep up with my activities of the day. I would even pay another $2-$4 for one. Thank you

As a shortcut can open a folder already, I would like a shortcut that can open a specific note. This would make referring back to the same note much easier - something I do frequently. If the first (or current) page of that note could then be displayed on a home screen widget, it would be a big step forward towards the usage of the phone as a notepad replacement.

I agree. Looking for something to replace S-Note since Note 3 won't sync with older Note 10.1 tablet (just sad). Samsung removed the 4x3 widget that did just this with the new version of S-Note (on the Note 3).

Yes, please! I've been unhappy with the current apps' widgets and/or need to open to use. A full screen and half screen options would be great, too.

It would be great if you can actually look at the notes on the desktop live, making use of the screen real estate to look at other pages as you make notes. This would be extremely useful in doing mathematical derivations or taking notes.

Hold the presses! If you add those buttons please make one a 'sync now' as I think your sync functionality is above all others (and yes, I've tried them all - I live by lists and notes) and being able to tap a 'sync now' every once in a while (or after making a lot of changes) would be comforting!

I like being able to view notes on home screen, like a shopping list or materials take off without having to open the app. Widget would be top notch
