Page borders and colour
Some features I would love to see in Squid are: -
• A light fred borderline in a college ruled page as borders are very useful for alignment
• Some page colors-like Sepia, Green(Kinde type)
•Scribbling to delete text written
• A Colour pallette to save your own colours

Finally allow different background colors for pages and sync to google drive.
Users have been requesting these two things since 2012 from google searches I've done... Why not just do it? The background page color is especially problematic... hard on the eyes, wastes batteries, especially with so many now using android apps on chromebooks... Do it!

ok so I downloaded this app cause, I use to have an iPad and used noteshelf which was the only good thing that piece of crap had (rest was shit). now I have a Chromebook and I love it but this app could use some updates, like and options for drawing shapes and auto-correcting them, something to transform handwriting into typed form, and last but not least note shelf has the option for taking pictures and adding them as a new page (like if it were a pdf))

Passcode protect personal notes and enable journal mode with date auto populate
Enable passcode for notebooks for personal notes.
Also it would be awesome to have daily journal mode where I can create a notebook and as I open it auto populates the date and time.3 votes -

sincronización en la nube tendría que ser automática, con autoguardado, y el diseño exterior de los cuadernos podría ser del diseño de S Note o Bamboo Paper, además para la gestión y creación de cuadernos sería ideal que fuera como S Note ya que permitiría crear un indice por temas y dentro de los temas cada apartado. Subfolders, subnotes and configure the page as I would like.
1st) The selection tool should allow copying and sharing squid pages, between files and folders of squid itself, as if they were squid pages. The current version only allows to export as pdf, and yet one need to export to another App and then insert as pdf in the squid file. I wish it could be entered as an editable note from Squid himself.
2nd) Squid should allow to create subfolders into folders and subnotes into notes.
3rd) Squid should allow me to configure the pages with a mixture of backgrounds, I would choose the backgrounds and their size into…

Three important functions
Thanks for your application that I always use everyday.
But it will be more convenience if three functions improve.First, To swipe a page by hand gesture. It is really inconvenience to click the button every time.
Second, A pen that erase few minutes later automatically. I really suggest it must be a very helpful function when we study with this application.
And last, it is inconvenience to move when page is zoomed. Two fingers to zoom up the page, and move with only one finger is more convenience to other users.

Several ideas posted
I've been using your product every day for two years, love it! But like anything, there is room for improvement.
- Allow the user to add custom pen/color combinations in the top. Example, I could have a red 5 mm pen button, a blue 3mm pen button and a yellow 5 mm highlighter. One press to change from one to the other.
- Allow the user to do the same but with shapes and specific colors. A button for a red circle, and a button for a green square.
