Better note organization: sub-notebooks/folders

Provide a way to better organize notes, beyond the current notebook organization. This could be done with nested notebooks or folders, labels for notes, sections, chapters, etc.

📁 Folders are now available in Squid10! 📁

The Squid10 Preview is now available to everyone. Notebooks are now folders and folders can now be nested! Folders can also be moved to, and restored from, Trash.

To use folders, update to the latest version of Squid and tap "Try Squid10".

For tags/labels, we created a new idea. If you're interested in this feature, we'd love your vote and feedback.

    It would be nice if I can add a folder in a folder. only what I can do is making a folder and just let notebooks are in it. I want to sort out it as a folder in a folder

    labels/tags would make sorting by notebooks unnecessary .... it would be perfect .... faster ... more flexible .... i love hashtags

    Hey Andrew Hughes, any movement on making this a reality? Over 2000 of your users feel this is needed enough to complain on a website. Common we are paying ya money for this app, at least make it a bit more user friendly 8 years later... please It would be nice if it could be done by the time I am out of med school! seriously...

    There are multiple versions of this idea in this suggestion board. It's a good idea, and we should pool our votes behind the leading folder/nesting/structure idea to elevate it.

    It would be really usefull to be able to create a folder(s) inside a folder. In my opinion it would make it more organizable so that way I can have a topic and subtics.
    For example, I would make a folder called 6th semester, inside it I would make folders for my different courses, and inside each course I would have different notebooks such as Notes, Homeworks, Proyects, Presentations, Exams, reminders, etc...
    I hope you can add this feature soon. Thank you for your time.
