Scroll button or auto scrolling
when you want to take notes and really make use of the size of the page you have to scroll either to the right or down to get more paper. This is quite annoying because you always have to lift your hand then swype and start writing again. It would be useful to add a navigation to do this either automatically or through a button. The button should have the option to scroll either to the right or down. When the button could move one page size (=size of the current view) in the chosen direction this would be awesome.

Add reminder, alerts, and to do lists
I like to add checkbox in any note that would automatically add that note to a separate reminder / todo category. There should also be a dedicated view / list to see all reminders in all notes
would like the reminder list to show either headline or all checkbox lines in the notes with checkbox. Each note should be possibly to expand to see the individual checkbox in it.
Also want to set a reminder alarm and mabye also a priority and category for either a note with checkbox or for each individual checkbox. This should be possibly to use for sorting or filtering in the reminder list
when adding a checkbox (typically by Making a rectangle in the left side of a line) I want a suggested area Automatically selected but with the possibility to change it by stretching

Saving different colors for different tools
When changing color of the new marker for example to yellow, it would be useful, that this color would be saved next time when switching to it. And so with the regular pen.

S-Find Search Integration for Galaxy Note tablets
S-Find lists many apps it can include in its search results. Apps like Evernote are listed, but unfortunately Papyrus is not. I'm amazed at how good S-Find is at searching my inked notes from S Note and Evernote.

Import of vector graphics
It seems that "add image" only allows to import pixel graphics. I would like to import vector graphics like pdf, ps, or svg.

Add time stamps
A day planner option. Or the option to have pages with dates listed on them. Even a time stamp option would be great.

make the r g b color sliders longer for fine adjust
I'm running this app on the new Samsung tab pro 8.4 when I change colors and I'm adjusting the r g b sliders they are so short to get a specific number it is very difficult. On a larger screen tablet there is plenty of room for the sliders to be twice as long to allow for a finer adjustment

add a setting to disable device-/android-buttons and ambient light sensor
Depending on the orientation of the device I keep pushing the hardware buttons, or blocking the ambientlight sensor, resulting in droping out of the app or getting the back light dimmed.
I would like to have the option to disable them all together when editing a note.

Make a paid "Pro" version of the app instead of using multiple in-app purchase for premium features.
I have no problem paying for good applications but dislike the method of using in-app purchases, as they do not stay with the application if you move to a new device, have multiple devices, or even change then ROM. If you want to see money from your development efforts, make a separate paid "Pro" version in the Google Play Market, but don't nickel and dime users with multiple in-app purchases.
703 votesThank you all for your wonderful feedback! I just wanted to set a few things straight.
First, in-app purchases are tied to your Google or Samsung account, depending on which store you downloaded Papyrus from. Purchases are automatically restored or enabled by Google Play or Samsung Apps on all devices you are signed into with that account. This means, if you get a new device, have multiple devices, or need to reinstall Papyrus, you only need to purchase the premium features once (as long as you use the same account). This is true for all applications in these stores (not just Papyrus) as it is handled by Google and Samsung. Please note, however, that it can sometimes take a little while for purchases to show up on other devices or after just installing Papyrus (usually it’s instant though).
Second, we’re always trying to figure out the best business model for us and our users so we can continue to make Papyrus the best note-taking app. We currently offer different paid features individually so users can choose what they want, rather than having one higher priced option (such as a “pro” version or single in-app purchase). Each feature we add to Papyrus is not a new paid feature. In fact, we’ve added many features to the free version of Papyrus over the past year, and we will continue to do so.
Please feel free to continue to provide constructive feedback here about pricing models and what you would like to see!

Add a widget shortcut to easily sync and backup database or export PDF files from the Android home screen
This is to make it easier to backup notes to the cloud manually rather than waiting for the scheduled sync time or going through the menus to start the sync.
