Have a "Side Slider" to go up and down with one finger.
As in ASUS Supernote. There is a grey slider in the right of the frame which is used to go up and down with one finger.

Premium version not good enough for premium
I still miss the annotation feature, that is the most important and one to make the background black, I use an old screen. (like most people in the future will) and white drains your battery, black preserves it

Display Recent Notes on Startup
When Papyrus starts, it displays 3 options, all of which could be neatly placed in the top bar (to the right of "Papyrus"), which would free up space to display the most recent notes instead.
Most times, when I open Papyrus, it is to read what I wrote earlier, not to alter settings or create empty notes.
(I don't mean to sound grumpy, I'm not a native english speaker and the above simply seemed like the clearest way to put the suggestion.)

When you start writing on a bluetooth keyboard, the text editing window should appear automatically
When done the text box should appear in the middle of your view

Long press back key deletes everything on note
If you want to completely delete everything on the note, being able to long press to do that would work nicely.
