Change page colour, instead the dark theme only.
Some colour variation for paper background. A colour pallet, i think, is not too hardor expensive to implement. We could choose the best fit colour for us.For example, i prefer to use a beige, kinda old yellow-ish paper. Mor pleasant fo eyes.

Word searcher and change pages order
Introduce a word searcher for PDF. And It would be great if you could change the order of the pages.

Support multiple instances of app, like samsung notes or google docs
This would be a similar feature as having two notes open in the same window, but it could be more flexible than creating the feature in app.

Waypoints
For marking positions on a Note page to easily navigate back to.
Waypoints should be namable and available in a list, either through a bar or popup window, and ideally organizable with collections.
Clicking a waypoint snaps user view to waypoint position.
Waypoints on the page could appear as map markers or pin drops, like popular map apps, and should be hidable.

Materiel You Colour Theming
Please make the UI colour scheme match the system colours under materiel you theming for android. It would make the app feel more cohesive with the rest of the OS and be more pleasing to see and use.

Being able to add text in place of having to write in a file
Would like to be able to have text box that can be inserted anywhere in a page to add additional notes to existing pdf... Instead of writing. I have a scrappy handwriting, can't understand later

Option to organize into main folders; emoji button, recording option and insert audio option.
I have some ideas that I believe would please not only myself but also a large portion of the public who chose Squid (like me) among several other options that they tested.
The day I was going to uninstall the app because I thought I had found a better option and didn't have much hope for Squid, was the day that the update was released, which included a layout change and the ability to suggest changes.
Here is my first suggestion:
On the home page, I suggest adding the option to organize notebooks into main folders. For example, a main folder called 'Quantum Physics Notes' could contain several notebooks with specific subjects such as 'Laws of the Universe' and 'How X, Y, Z'. Another main folder could be 'Sketches' with notebooks on subjects like 'Drawing Hands' and 'Drawing Faces'.
I suggest adding a button or option to the main toolbar or the three-dot menu to allow users to add emojis to their notes. These should be simple system defaults that can help users who learn better with images and associations like me. Emojis are quick, practical, and simple, making them a useful addition to note-taking.
I would like there to be an option to start a recording or insert audio into notebooks, this was one of the things that almost made me leave Squid in search of another app.
Best regards,

Select tool as AutoCad
Select tool could work as Autocad does. If you drag to the right, the selection will only get full objects (you need to fit all the object in the selection area); if you drag to the left you can select an object just fitting a small part of it (you select all object, but you don't need to make it fit all). For example, I have a line, if I try to select it dragging from left to right, I will select it only if I draw a selection area bigger than the line, but, if I drag from right to left, just a small selection of the line will be enough to select all the object

There should be audible feedback when something is erased
Frequently enough, something gets erased because I rest my hand on the screen (while using a stylo to draw on the screen). When I discover that something was erased like this, it's too late to "undo" and bring it back, because I'd also undo all my later work. An option for audible feedback (make it fun, like the sound of a sponge, whatever) would immediately let me know that stuff get erased without my intention.
PS: kudos for letting me erase via my finger though, excellent usability touch, sooo much better than having to select the eraser tool

adding gifs to the notes
As a student, its really hard sometimes to revise. So its easier as a visual memory. Hence adding the gifs so it saves a lot of time. And also in presentations its really cool.
