Add a donut popup to select tools while using a stylus
I use a Chromebook and I know that the ChromeOS lacks support for third parties to access the USI pen's side buttons, but I think we can circumvent this issue with a donut popup. It would work for every stylus pen as well.
The donut popup would open by holding down the pen for a couple of instants, then, you could swipe up, down, left and right on the screen to choose a tool to use like pen, selection, eraser or text.

Add a 'clear recent items' button.
It would be helpful to be able to clear the recent items window periodically, without deleting the notes, to avoid it getting too cluttered. Is this possible?

Have an importable SQUID user manual that can be saved in program
If taking notes and no access to the internet it would be difficult to access this web page for how to do something. I wrote in for issues I was having and they very nicely responded with what I needed to know but had no idea how to find what I needed to know.

Change specific pages to view only instead of the complete notebook
I like that the notebook can be changed to View Only to to prevent accidental changes but would like to select which pages are view only. The active pages would be editable but the completed pages would be protected,

Exclude certain notes from cloud backup
Some notes might be huge, such as large PDFs, and I would like to exclude them from automatic cloud backup. Additionally, there might be certain private notes that I want to stay on only on the device and not be backed up.

Being able to add tags inside notes and labels
Being able to create tags, labels and bookmarks to pages would allow you to study directly from a book using squid, also it's very effective when use your own handwritten notes.
Another feature could be having the possibility to add hypertext references similar to how office works.

Turn off eraser by default when swiping a document in edit mode
Whenever I am viewing a document in edit mode, there are accidental erased swipes without having the eraser selected and it clears a section of my notes while I am trying to scroll the document, leaving and losing precious parts of my document that is sometimes saved and gone without any notice.
