Add Google Drive as a Cloud Backup Option
Support for Google Drive storage via cloud backup.
Support for Google Drive is now available for everyone on Google Play, along with a major update to cloud backup! Backups are now created at the note level, meaning only the notes that were created or edited since the last backup will be uploaded to Drive. As a result, backups are now MUCH faster and can easily resume after being interrupted.
This has been a long time coming, so thanks for your patience. Please try it out and let us know if you have any feedback!

Okay, this is it. It's been 6 YEARS since this was asked! I don't care that you want to use the SAF, just implement the SDK solution for now and stop blaming Google for this issue! You guys' stubbornness has shown us how little you care about the features we want. I am very seriously considering deleting my premium account and just moving to Noteshelf purely because they actually WANT to listen to their users and are actively working on apps.
PLEASE begin working on this right now.

We need support for using Google Drive an option for backup/restore.
While there is a VERY OLD feature request, you have complained in the response to that that Google is to blame.
We need YOU to implement this option in your software ... it can be done.
Many of us might even be willing to work with your team to help implement that.

Is the drive sync comming soon? If not i will no longer use Squid

This is a much needed feature, and considering the fact that this app subscription costs more than any other Android note taking app of similar functionality or the hugely popular iPad Notability, I am really surprised it hasn't been implemented. Come on guys..

I need squid to synchronise with google drive ! Thank you ! Nebo is perfect for the synchronisation, you should do the same.

Lance Johnson commented
Others like MyScript Nebo are already doing this. Not sure why Squid Notes can't implement this.

I would love to see Google drive added as a cloud storage provider. Dropbox is okay, but if Squid is intended to be tightly integrated with Google why wouldn't it be the default cloud storage provider? Thanks!!

For the past 2 years I've been installing and uninstalling squid because it doesn't work with Google drive. Every other app on the planet does. This is your company. Make it good. Then maybe you can be great.

Andrew, Here we are in July 2019 -- why not SIMPLY allow an automatically scheduled "back up local folder" option? Using the "date" as part of the back up name. We users can manage that while you figure out how to work to deliver this necessary business functtionality.

This would be a 5+star app if it auto synced with g drive. Then I could easily access across platforms. I love squid on my Chromebook and have all my notes there but would love to have access through my phone or work computer. Please add this! I too purchased premium expecting this... And would pay again to have it!
